Today was the day Lis was discharged from the hospital after a week in hospital, she had many visitors from her family, Olly's family and her friends. Olly had been there at the hospital every day to see how his girlfriend was and bought the boys to see her. Sarah rescheduled Olly's appointments but his UK tour was coming up thick and fast and he needed to rehearse. The boys were due to go back to school and Lis was still needed at her important job. She thought to herself "don't stress Lis, it's all going to be ok" she patted her bump which hadn't appeared yet. She brushed her hair and got dressed into her comfy clothes of a tight hooded top and jogger bottoms. She waited for someone to pick her up, the families together had been great and pulled together to support Olly, Lis and the boys. "Hey you" a male voice appeared from around the corner clasping a bunch of flowers. Lis stood up and peered around the corner "Oh hey, I wasn't expecting you to pick me up", it was Olly, he should have been rehearsing, "course I'm going to be here to pick you up" he put his arms round her neck and gave her a warm hug. "So are these for me then?" she asked pointing to the flowers, "Erm no they're for the nurses" he responded with a wry smile. "Oh ok" she was gutted. "Na not really course they're for you babe". She took the flowers, gave him a peck on his lips and signed the necessary forms to be released.
"Babe, we have to go out the back door, the front of the hospital is full of paps and reporters, must have got wind of something from someone here" Olly said. "The sooner we get this interview over and done with the better" she replied. They jumped into a silver car in the backseat with blackout windows. He put his arm around her and his other hand was placed on her tummy, he rubbed it and smiled "I've been waiting ages to do that", she looked at him and smiled "well I'm not going anywhere babe". "About the interview hon, Sarah wants to know if we can do it tomorrow" Olly queried, "sure thing babe, I feel so much better, but I don't want to say anything you know..." she said pointing to her small bump. "I know babes". They pulled up to Olly's house and made their way inside, the whole place looked like a florist's so many bouquets from family, friends, fans, Olly's record company and the press, "wow, bloody hell" Lis shouted. "I know, we have had deliveries for days, seems like your a popular girl" Olly reassured her, "I think it's mainly down to you babe" she answered. Just then the boys came running in with both sets of family walking from the living room. "Hey boys, I've missed you so much" she knelt down and gave them both kisses. She hugged and kissed both sets of parents and thanked them all for their help. "Erm babe... I've gotta go" Olly awkwardly asked, "I know don't worry, I know you have to rehearse I'll see you later babe", she gave him a hug and a kiss and he departed. The parents left soon after, Lis wanted to carry on as normal before she was in the hospital, and she really wanted the comfort of her own bed and pillows.
The boys were in bed so Lis checked her twitter account, she hadn't been on there for a while and she just wanted to catch up on what had been happening. She noticed her followers had gone up dramatically and her mentions were through the roof. She decided to look at a few most were well wishers and thanking them for making Olly happy. She thought to herself "maybe i'm being accepted by the fans", that was her one doubt. She updated her twitter to read "feeling so much better now, thanks for all your wishes and messages of support". Twitter went crazy, she was being tweeted every 20 seconds or so. As she was in a good mood she decided to send some fans tweets back. She then noticed a tweet towards her "So glad @lisammurs is back, now can have a decent cup of tea", she couldn't help but laugh, she knew it was from Olly, she simply responded "Ha ha very cheeky @ollyofficial".
Olly walked in the door, Lis was snoozing on the sofa but woke to the shut door that Olly shut behind him. "Oh sorry, did I wake you babe?" he was concerned, she smiled "tea?". She looked at him and they both laughed in hysterics, "don't be silly babe, come on lets go up, got a big day tomorrow". They got into bed in this crisp clean white sheets, "I've missed this" Olly said, "me too babes". Olly turned the bedside light off and they fell asleep in each other's arms.
Today was the day of the big interview, Lis carried on her normal day to day work as a mum, although she had been a bit out of practice. The boys had been back to school for a week, so she had to make school packed lunches, check homework was done and make sure that they know what they were having for dinner at night. She was still in her shorts pjs and put the kettle on, the boys made themselves down the stairs nosily "here's breakfast boys", they sat up the breakfast bar and ate quickly but being loud "shhh your dad's still in bed, don't wake him" Lis said quietly. The boys just laughed. "Right now your finished you need to go up and get washed and dressed". The boys made their way upstairs and got ready. Lisa made her way to her bedroom, Olly was out of bed and she heard the shower from the en suite going. She decided what she was wearing for the interview a floral halterneck chiffon top and some skinny black trousers. Lis was looking at the clothes hung up outside the wardrobe, Olly stood in the doorway with a towel wrapped around his waist, he smiled at her trying to decide, he broke the silence "whatever you wear you'll look great". She looked round "ahh thanks, yep I think this is what I'm going to wear, I'm going to jump in the shower and take the boys to school" she responded. "No rush babes, I'll take the boys and you can take your time to get ready", "Ok, well if your sure all their homework is done and they are just getting ready". Olly got dressed and took the boys.
Lis got herself ready doing her usual routine; having a shower, blow drying her hair and straightening her hair, applying her makeup and putting on her interview clothes. Olly soon returned from the school run. "Heyyy you look great babe" he spun her round and checked out her bum "nice" he giggled. "Well it's going to get bigger soon" she laughed. "I'll still love ya don't worry" he played. "So are we ready to go babe?" Olly asked. "Yep think so" she said nervously. "Don't worry it's going to be ok" he placed his arm around her to reassure her.
The car picked them up and took them to the This Morning studios "what I didn't realise I was going to be on tv, bloody hell, shit ok" she whispered to Olly. "They are the best people to be interviewed by babe, it's live and at least people won't change quotes like in the magazines and newspapers". She breathed heavily "ok lets do this".
"Right next up is the amazing Olly Murs with the girl in his life in their first and only interview together, talking about why is happy, how they met, and what the future holds for them". Lis come across as quite shy which is not what she is usually like, the presenters could sense this so began asking Olly questions, "your alot happier than when you were last here, so how did you two meet?", both Lis and Olly looked at each other and laughed "well our son's tried to set us up one day at an adventure playground and basically got us speaking to each other?", "really that does sound like a funny story, so your son's basically know each other?, Olly responded again "yep they are best friends in the same class as each other". "So when did you know you wanted to get together then?" "well I don't know about Lisa but it was kinda instant for me, well when we kinda got into conversation when I forgot lunch, so she offered...". "And you Lisa?" the presenter asked. She thought shhhhiiittt I have to speak now "erm", she looked at Olly "basically I have been a fan for a long time so the attraction has always been there for me, but I really fell for him when we clicked just with conversations, we kinda like bounce off each other with our talk". Olly looked at Lis and held her hand, he had never heard her say that, he was proud of her. "So the last time you come you were having some problems?", Lis felt comfortable to respond which Olly was impressed with "yes, but I think a relationship needs to have it's ups and downs and to realise how someone is so special to you", "Good answer, I'm sure you have a bright future ahead, so what does the future hold for both of you?" the presenter said. Both Olly and Lis looked at each other trying not to mention their exciting news "who knows, we are enjoying being together with our little family, so watch this space" Olly responded. They carried on talking about Olly's tour which was due to start in the UK in a couple of weeks and what else he had planned. The interview was then over. Lis sighed "oh thank god thats over, I was so nervous", "you were great babe" he grabbed her by the waist and gave her a hug, "you sure?", "positive babes".
"OMG Lis you gotta come here quick" Olly shouted whilst walking to the car, Lis was behind him with a coffee in her hand and thanking the presenter for being so nice to her. "What, what is it?" she responded running to catch up with him. "Look, twitter has gone crazy, they love you babes" he showed her his blackberry. She read one from one fan "so nice seeing @ollyofficial so happy with his beautiful gf, hope they are happy", another said "@ollyoffical and @lisammurs the perfect couple". She blushed a little "ahh babes, that's so sweet you have the greatest fans in the world, don't ya?", "yep the best, now I've showed you off to the world, you're for keeps".
