The UK tour had ended and Olly was glad he had some time off to spend with his family and friends and to just chill out. He was lying in bed awake, Lis was at work, he got his phone out and checked his messages, there were lots of congratulations messages of what happened the previous night. He couldn't help but smile, he had it all; a dream job, a fiancee that he loves, a beautiful son, a step son to be that he thought as he own and another baby. Life couldn't be more perfect could it?
"Ring Ring", Olly's blackberry went off. "Hello" he said, "oh hey, Olly listen I've got some news can you come into the office please?" it was Sarah. "Oh yeah sure, let me sort myself out and I'll be there". He jumped into the shower and got himself dressed in his skinny jeans, tshirt, trilby and espadrilles.
It was a sunny day, he jumped into his car and begun to drive to the office, he put on his radio and began jamming to a few tunes, he was hitting his hand against the steering wheel to the rhythm of the song that was playing. The presenter came on the local radio stations and started talking about the Olly Murs concert, and how eventful it was. Olly turned up so he could hear exactly what was being said "well girls, it looks like Olly Murs is now off the market, getting engaged to his girlfriend ohhh and she's pregnant too", the second presenter continued "but they only got together recently, it wasn't too long at go they split up". Olly turned it off and thought "is this all happening far too quickly?". He had to stop thinking about this as he arrived at the office. He made his way into the lift up to the 4th floor of his management company. Sarah was waiting for him to arrive, "hey Olly, how are ya? look there's a ton of fan mail here, you can sign a bunch of these while we have our meeting". Sarah instructed him into a vacant room.
"So I just wanted to give you an opportunity to give you what the press have reviewed" Sarah said. He looked up and thought about what had been said on the radio, he had a puzzled look on his face. Sarah seeing this said "Olly what's up?", "oh nothing, just something that I heard on the radio that I cant get out of my head", "what did they say?" she queried, "erm just something about me being with Lis, the marriage, baby is happening to quickly and you know I'm beginning to question it" Olly responded. "Seriously? do you feel like that?" Sarah sounded concerned. "Nevermind, so what did the press have to say?" he tried to change the subject. "No Olly, you have made this big deal about wanting to be together, you propose, your having a baby together, you've told the fans, for fucks sake Olly what do you want?" she pushed him. "I don't know just hearing people say things, I guess it kind of hurts people don't think it's genuine", "you need a holiday Olly, you need to stop worrying what others think and you need to be happy with what you have got and who you are" Sarah continued, "let's forget these press reviews which are all positive by the way".
"The real reason I bought you here Olly, is that Columbia have backtracked, they want to re-sign you over there" Sarah said. "Really?, why?, how?" Olly queried with a smile on his face. "Well Lisa has been working hard, promoting you out there, emailing and calling radio and TV stations, sending over your shows to them and basically Columbia has buckled under public pressure" Sarah said. "Lisa did this, for me?" he had a grin but a puzzled look at the same time, "pretty amazing girl isn't she, it's not her job either, it should have been ours really, she has got this deal for you" Sarah passed him his new record contract that would protect him and was on his terms, he flicked through a few pages. "Wow, I can't believe she's done this, I mean she didn't even tell me anything about it" he said happily. "Olly, sorry for being nosy but does this answer your question and doubts?". He nodded "she's pretty selfless isn't she?" he smiled. "Er yeh I think so Olly, I hope you have a big treat for her then. But you do know you'll be touring don't you, you'll be touring in 2 months time out there for 2 months going round America and releasing your single out there". Olly was trying to take it all in "wow I can't believe it, she promised me that I'd get there but I didn't know it would happen so quickly". Sarah added "Nor did we but you have had such good reviews from the UK tour, but also such a good hassler like Lisa...", "she's the best" Olly interrupted. "Oh shit...I'm not going to be able to see her either am I?" Olly continued "she can't travel she's pregnant". "She's done this for you, she wants you to take the opportunity and you'll be back by the time the baby comes and before xtra starts" Sarah said. "Ok, seems like everything is sorted then am I alright to go now?", "yes sure think everything is order now and Olly...." Olly knew what she was going to say "I know she's special and I'm not letting her go". He walked out of the office in a good mood.
Olly walked into his house clasping a huge bouquet of flowers. He put them down on the dining table and said "hey come here you". Lis was making dinner and Olly came up behind her and grabbed her waist and spun her round and gave her a soft, long kiss "heard the good news then?" Lis smiled. "These are for you, I just can't believe you would do that for me" he handed over the flowers over to her. "Babe, it's your dream if I can help you make your dreams come true then I'm gonna help, I love you don't I, come here". "Well since you've done something for me, let me do something for you" Olly asked. "Well... be careful, a back massage will be nice haha" Lis joked. Any doubt in Olly's mind had vanished their closeness was second to none.
