"but for now we stay so far 'til our lonely limbs connect"

She stood in front the gates to the training ground she was placed in. Including herself there were around forty students anxiously awaiting those gates to open.
"Make sure to pass, don't attract any unnecessary attention."
Kanashii remembered her objective. She just had to take out enough of those clunky robots to pass. That should be easy enough. The doors opened and a loud beeping sound alerted the students that the practical exam had begun. All of them rushed inside eager to claim as many points as they could. She heard loud explosions not far from her. So the first hit has been dealt, she thought to herself. She felt slight irregular vibrations below her feet. Instantly alert she took on a defensive stance readying herself to take on the robots walking toward her. There was nobody around her but two one-pointer robots and one three-pointer. She could easily take on them.
Kanashii activated her quirk feeling an almost instant surge of energy in her legs. She used that energy to jump along the smaller robots and kick the first two down. Upon impact she propelled herself off of the second one-pointer to reach the three-pointer. Quickly she led a little more energy inside her legs kicking the last of three robots down effectively. Satisfied with the level of destruction she caused to the robots, she ran off looking for more targets. Time flew by rather quickly while she was busy racking up points. 76. She kept count knowing that failing was not an option for her. The exam would come to an end soon, she assumed there were only a few minutes left. She heard another loud explosion, this time it sounded a lot closer. Way too close for comfort.
Before Kanashii had the time to react heavy metal pieces of a rather clunky three-pointer flew through the air. All alarms in her mind were on high alert urging her to run, but she was just the fraction of a second too slow. Loud banging sounds filled her eardrums as the metal landed around her. Dark settling around her as the metal effectively shielded her from any light source. As soon as the clanging sounds subsided, Kanashii deemed it safe to move again, but she couldn't. A sharp pain rushed along her body. Quickly shifting her body to see where the pain found its origin, she noticed a large plate of metal laying atop her left leg. The metal dug into the fabric of her black training pants and pierced the skin beneath drawing blood. She tried moving around to relieve herself of this rather embarrassing situation, to no avail. The metal digging into her skin propped up the other pieces of metal surrounding her body creating a delicate balance keeping the heaps of metal from crushing her.
Shallow breaths escaping past her lips, Kanashii shifted around to find a way to safely disrupt the balance so she could escape. Just as she had figured out some makeshift strategy, she heard some of the metal budging. Loud banging sounds sent vibrations through the metal, her body shaking with it ever so lightly. Someone from the outside was punching at it, to free her. She duck away as the first streaks of light reached her, bracing herself for the incoming metal. The impact never came. Her eyes slowly adjusted to the light as she looked upon who had saved her. A boy with spiky black hair knelt before her carefully lifting off the metal from her leg. She noticed the muscles on his right arm had hardened to sharp rough shards of skin. So thats how he had punched through the metal. That was quite the interesting quirk, she made a mental note to keep an eye out for him, should he make the hero course.
"Are you okay to walk?"
He stood slightly crouched in front of her holding his hand out. He looked worried. Kanashii nodded taking his hand, earning a strange look from him as he looked at her gloved hand. She propped herself up careful not to pressure her left leg. She most definitely had enough energy left to heal it, but she decided against it. She had been ordered not to unnecessarily waste energy, so she wasn't going to. Just as she was about to leave the boy to continue with the exam, a loud beep rang through the training ground. The practical exam had come to an end.
