"they're calling for your blood, they'll never get enough, not until you blackout"

The two of them headed into the battle building. The nuclear bomb was on the fifth floor, so ideally they had to get as high up as possible without being noticed. So far that seemed to work out. The two, while alert, managed to get as high-up as the third floor completely unscathed. At this time both were suspicious of the ease they found themselves in. Kanashii knew an attack had to be right around the corner. Midoriya suddenly bolted in front of her. That's when she saw Bakugo turn the corner. His palm stretched toward them ready to blast at them. Midoriya reacted quickly. As though he had anticipated Bakugo's attack, he grabbed his arm and spun him around. For a second Bakugo was surprised, but he gained his composure quickly.

He sent a blast toward the two of them. Kanashii jumped to the side. Midoriya followed in an attempt to dodge just slightly slower than her.

"Let's split up." Midoriya panted. "He can't fight the both of us."

Kanashii nodded and ran off into the opposite direction. Bakugo had to be near. She knew she could fight him. If Midoriya took care of Iida she would most likely be able to beat him, though today of all days it would take a lot of energy. When she turned the next corner she saw him. He was turned away from her. Her steps were light and silent.

All Might and the other students watched in surprise how silently Kanashii made her way to her opponent. Even though she was masked by the dead of night whenever she took care of targets, she had to learn to evade the Pro Heroes reflexes and instincts. Bakugo turned around having noticed her quicker than Kanashii had expected. Yet not fast enough. She had already leapt into the air ready to knock him on his back. She lead more energy into her legs making sure she had enough leeway to pull off what she envisioned. Bakugo quickly lifted his arm releasing an explosion. She couldn't dodge that without stable footing, he thought.

Kanashii had expected he would try to blast her back. It was a smart move. She leaned into her jump. The hell was she doing? She was going to crash into the wall. Bakugo almost laughed out loud as he was pulled back slightly from the drawbacks of his explosion. In a split second Kanashii shifted her feet so she could use the wall as a stepping stone. Seeing Bakugo still stumbling backwards she leapt toward him. Before he knew what she was doing she placed her hands on his shoulders gaining the momentum to leap off of him and spin around. Her weight on top of him pulled him backward even more. Before he could gain his composure Kanashii kneed him in the back using the opposite direction of the momentum to harden her blow against him. Bakugo fell forward but caught himself before face-planting into the ground. How had she done that just now?

He had been excited to fight both the people he had wanted to knock down, but now he was pissed. Red, hot anger seeped from his frame as he pulled himself back on his feet. Without being anywhere near enough to sense it, Kanashii could clearly see his energy, his anger, covering his whole frame. His eyes bore into her flaming with rage. He charged at her. She took upon a defensive stance ready to spar with him. Maybe that way Midoriya could gain enough time to reach Iida. She blocked his hit with ease hitting his wrist with her lower arm. She pushed him to the side and jumped back slightly. Quickly she led energy into her arms and aimed to hit his abdomen. He dodged. The two went back and forth fighting on near equal footing.

Without his quirk Kanashii was the better fighter, but he could propel himself through the air gaining more momentum and dealing hits with a lot more strength than she had. He dodged a kick she had aimed for the side of his neck. The side of her boot grazed his face ripping the mask covering his eyes. He leapt into the air using his explosions to land behind her. Kanashii had no time to spin around before he had already blasted her back. She fell flat onto the hard concrete floor. Though she felt the impact knock the wind out of her, she didn't feel any pain. An all too familiar numbness covered her body.
