Venom watched over Eddie all night, eagerly keeping his eyes on those two large eggs inside of his passenger's new home.
His host was so perfect....so perfect. Venom would have never trailed his host for anything.
It was interesting how Venom had changed the man's body and he had enjoyed toying with it as the man slept. He knew Eddie would like the change. He knew what was in Eddie's mind. Besides having a vagina, Eddie now had a way to produce milk for the babies.
It was interesting how humans worked. Venom tilted his head a little as he felt the eggs shifting around a little inside his mate's stomach and smiled.
Venom had seen other demons birth before, it was nothing new to him. He knew how it worked and had seen it with his own eyes. He himself had had spawn before but that was only because he made them asexually. But those ones had turned out bad.
Riot, Carnage....they had both been utter disasters.
Venom felt bad for them. It hadn't been their fault they had chosen so poor hosts. Carnage had come to latch onto a serial killer called Cletus Cassidy and Riot...
Riot was just there.
Riot wasn't so much different from Venom himself in a sense. He didn't want to just kill and eat. True, he was the team leader and was respected by most of symbiotes, but he had one flaw and he never could get it inside of his thick, ugly skull.
Riot had empathy. Like Venom, Riot could actually care about his hosts and passengers. Venom had high hopes for him....but then Riot had bonded to Carlton Drake, that insane man who worked at the Life Foundation. Ever since he got hold of that weirdo, Riot had changed. True, he could still feel empathy, but he had become...distant. Cruel. Heartless. All he cared about was his host. If it wasn't his host, they would suffer.
That was Riot.
Venom sighed and nuzzled against his mate's bloated stomach, sighing.
" You will not be like the others," he whispered to them. "You will be good spawns. Not nasty and mean like my other spawns. You will learn to love like I love my Eddie."
Eddie woke to hearing Venom stirring. Opening his eyes, he saw that Venom had wrapped two tentacles around his—
Oh, my god.
His stomach.
It was like he was five months pregnant!
He quickly sat up and realized that had been a bad decision. He suddenly had the urge to vomit.
Venom knew immediately what was up and shot out a tentacle to hold the trash can up to his mouth. Eddie vomited a few seconds later.
"Am I dying?" Eddie whimpered as he slowly began to make his way to the bathroom.
"No, love," the demon chuckled. "You're just experiencing morning-sickness."
"Great," Eddie mumbled and then proceeded to puke in the toilet as well. Once he had finished, he looked up, eyes bleary. "I guess I have a lot to learn about carrying a baby..."
"Yes, you do, Eddie," Venom purred, lovingly caressing the man's stomach. "But we will learn about this together. First things first. We can only do so much in so much time. Shower first."
"But I showered last night," Eddie whined.
"I know, but it is good to shower more, especially when one is pregnant," Venom replied, gently nudging him out of his clothes. "Warm water makes happy spawns."
