"Okay" the OB has the wand pressed to the lower part of my belly and soon we hear the fast heartbeat of the baby "there's your baby" I smile as I look at the monitor, but I don't see anything "I'll give you two the moment"

"That's the baby" Caius smiles down at me as I have tears in my eyes.

"I don't see it" he looks at my confused "I don't see it"

"It's right there" he shows me, but I still don't see anything "you don't see anything do you?" I shake my head and fall down. "Okay, okay" pulling me up he shows me the small dot.

"That's it?" I ask, he nods his head "I saw that"

Time Skip

"Here's your pizza" I'm handed a full pizza, I start to eat. Caius just watches me eat.

"So how long have you been joining me in bed?" I ask, I know what it feels like to sleep next to a man and I'm curious.

"Do I make you" I put my hand on his cheek as he starts to apologize.

"I don't mind" confessing to him "I sleep easier with you by my side"

"I'm glad" we lean in and we almost kiss but we are interrupted by Caius's phone ringing.

"What?" He growls and I blush feeling heat go down to my center. "Fine"

Caius's POV

"What do you mean there's an army being created?" I demand, my mate is asleep in my arms. When we came home she fell asleep and now she's in my arms.

"Someone is creating an army, in Russia" Aro tells me, Beyla moves a bit in my arms but soon gets comfortable.

"We kill them" I say

"Now brother" Marcus holding Dydime to him, she's insisted she be apart of things from now on "we can't kill who we don't know, we don't even know what kind of army is being created"

"We can't put Beyla and the baby in danger" Dydime states "I say we send Demetri and Alec to spy on the place"

"I don't know" Aro mumbles "I mean"

"Do you have a better idea?" Dydime crosses her arms giving Aro a challenging look "Demetri can track down someone from the army, Alec can paralyze a person. I say we send the two to spy for a few days, then come back with a full report of what they've seen"

"What about if their caught?" Aro crosses his arms

"Then they better not" she says like it's obvious "their apart of our elite guard for a reason"

"But sister" We watch Dydime slap his face and he looks at her angry before bursting out in anger like a child "will you quit that!"

"I will after you realize the pain you put my mate through when you killed me and the pain I went through watching my mate be in pain" taking Marcus's hand "come Marcus" the two soon leave.

"Ugh!" Aro throws his hands up in the air before storming out of the room like a child. Shaking my head I bring Beyla to our room, setting her down she doesn't let go when I pull away.

Soon I crawl into bed and pull the covers over us and I watch as my mate holds onto me, I then look down to her womb where the baby is and picture what the child will look like from what little Beyla has told me about the father.
