"Here's my beautiful baby girl" picking up Crimson who has just woken up, one thing I'll miss about being human is not being able to carry anymore children or breastfeed them. There's something about the bond between a mother and her child when she breastfeeds them that it's hard to explain. But then again, the moments where your with your child and feeding them is full filling and fills part of that bond.
"Mama" I almost drop Crimson when I hear her first word.
"Crimson? What did you just say?" I ask
"Mama!" She points to me, then when Caius comes into the room "Dada!" Caius stops staring at our daughter "Mama! Dada!"
"Did" Caius points
"She did" kissing my daughter, she giggles. Caius runs over and we hug our daughter. I may not be able to birth any of Caius's biological children, but that doesn't mean there aren't other ways to be a family.
When we hear a knock at the nursery door, it opens to Bella who laughs "you two are in big trouble with Marcus and Aro" I blush as Caius smiles at me, true to what we did. We completely destroyed the throne room, I mean the chairs that had to be almost a thousand years old were destroyed.
"We were...making moments" is all I say
"Ha!" Bella laughs "Aro and Marcus see what you did as, I'm going to kill Caius and Beyla"
"Oh please" Caius remarks "says the newborn who destroyed an entire bookcase in the library" Bella looks away then and I laugh.
"Mama!" Crimson points to me "Dada!" She pointed to Caius.
"That's right baby" rocking her in my arms "we're your mommy and daddy" then I realize "Caius? The new receptionist? Does she have a gift?"
"No" shaking his head "why?"
"I had my eggs frozen" I remembered something I did a couple years back since I was afraid I wouldn't get the chance to have any kids since meeting Stefan and Damon Salvatore.
