"No dad" I answer, it's been a few days since dad called to ask how Bella is doing. I had to lie saying she is going on a trip "I am perfectly fine"
"Beyla" dad sternly says "put Bella on the phone this instant, I need to speak with her"
"Dad she isn't here" I say again
"That's it" he hangs up, I sigh not liking what's about to happen. Putting my phone down I lay in bed rubbing my belly, it's been some months since Bella turned and it's been hard. It turns out the Russians are creating a army with the help of the La Push pack and the Cullens so I haven't seen much of Caius.
The last time we saw each other was when I needed help putting my shoes on this morning. Other than that, it's been hard. Right now I'm going to the doctor to check up on my baby, Caius is too busy so I didn't tell him. He doesn't need to worry about me or the baby with the army coming.
"Hey Beyla" my doctor comes in "how's everything doing?"
"Fine" she puts the gel on my belly and does the ultrasound, when she does this I hear the heartbeat once she puts the wand on my belly. "Your baby is good and healthy" she looks at me "must be hard with the crowded space"
"It's alright" meh, I'm close to snapping if the baby doesn't come out.
"Alright" she cleans my belly off "now since your close to your due date" which is in a few days "you should take it easy, I'll see you when you pop the little one out" When I leave to head back, I feel something off. I soon see a black car following me, going a different way the car follows so I speed up.
When the car continues to follow I get worried, just then the car comes to the side and drives me off the road. I scream when this happens.
~Caius's POV~
I look around the castle for Beyla but I can't find her, going to Demetri "Demetri" he looks my way "find Beyla" he nods his head and leaves, ever since Beyla has arrived I've grown worried since Athenadora has been by and tried numerous times to kill my mate and unborn baby.
When I get to the throne room I see Aro, Marcus and Dydime discuss what to do about the upcoming army when I get a phone call from Demetri. "Demetri? Did you find her?"
"Master I'm taking her to the hospital" I nearly drop my phone.
"What?" I ask, the others look my way hearing the panic "why?"
"Athenadora drove her off the road" my eyes grow dark and I crush my phone.
"Caius?" Dydime demands "what's going on?"
"Athenadora tried to kill Beyla" looking at Afton and Santiago "find Athenadora and bring her to me" they nod their heads and I leave.
"Where are you going?" Aro asks
