~Bella's POV~

I'm in Aro's study waiting for dad, I'm wearing contacts. We all are, after Didyme discussed (aka yelled saying we shouldn't kill dad) dad is now coming here. Honestly I'd rather dad be dead than having to live knowing his kids are here, is that bad? "Is it bad I want to kill my own father?" Everyone looks my way

"No" River kisses my head

"Is grandpa going to like us?" Charlie asks, he and his sister are both gifted. Individually they can do their own things. Like Charlie can create these balls of energy and it blows stuff up, while Midnight can cause people these illusions that can either be nice or nightmares. According to Dydime, Charlie inherited his gift from River while Midnight inherited her gift from me, I honestly don't know how since mine and River are both shields.

"I'm sure he will" River tells him, just then dad barges in and when he sees me he warily comes over.

"Hi dad" I tell him stiffly

"Bella?" He asks "everything alright? You don't turn into a dog do you?"

I give him a confused look "why would I do that?" Dad sighs relieved.

"Hello" Aro comes forward "my name is Aro, I'm Rivers uncle" dad and him shake hands.

"Your also Caius's brother" Dad states

"Yes" nodding his head "have you met him?"

"Beyla told me Caius has a brother named Aro" dad pulls his hand back looking at me "can I be given a moment with Bella?"

"Of course" Dydime has them all leave, leaving me and dad. Dad and me sit on the couch, looking at each other.

"Jake" dad tells me "Jake before I came here told me it was necessary I see you, what happened?"

"I really think it would be better"

Dad cuts me off "I want to know what happened to you" right cause the last time we talked I sounded sick and everything.

"I can't tell you" I tell him

"I think I deserve an explanation" dad looks at me annoyed "as in why you followed your sister to Italy? Why you and this River fellow who you've only known for not even a year decided to adopt twins? Why a kid I've known his entire life can turn into a very large dog!"

"Dad" I calmly say "I love River, it's as simple as that"

"No" shaking his head "no, no, no" getting up he puts his hands on his hips "the last time you came here was for Edward and now what"

"I live here dad" I stand "my life is with River and Beyla's is with Caius"

"You girls" dad paces "haven't even known these men for a year and your already making life changing decisions"

"Dad" taking a step to him "you have to understand that whatever decisions Beyla and I make, it's for the best"

Dad looks at me before pulling me into a hug "now more lies" I stay quiet "promise me"

"I can't" pulling back "your asking me to not lie about anything and some things I need to lie about"

"Oh" I see mom come in with Phil

"Mom?" I ask confused, then I look at dad "you told them about Beyla"

"They have a right to know" dad tells me. This is just fucking fantastic.

~Caius's POV~

We stand outside of Aro's study listening to Bella calm her and Beyla's father down when we see two more humans come this way. "Oh is my baby in there?" She asks "Bella!" She goes into the room.

"The mother" looking at Dydime "correct?"

"Yes" she nods her head and soon the human comes out.

"Which of you is Caius?" She demands, everyone steps away from me "you and I are going to talk mister"
