Twenty-Six

~Beyla's POV~

I pace the room me and Crimson are in, I take deep breathes before realizing I have fucking powers. Patting myself down I find the vampire blood I have on emergency, drinking it in case anything bad happens—I grab Crimson, a filled diaper bag and leave the room. I walk quietly through the place, which is hard since I am starting to get hungry. Looking around I see the Cullens in a room with some other vampires and the La Push wolves?! Those fuckers! Using my powers I create a thick wall of ice, one that those assholes will have a hard time getting out of.

Holding Crimson close, I run and when I hear voices I run into a room. I see the La Push shifters Paul and Jared here "wow" I say locking the door "kidnapping a woman and her child" snapping one of my fingers "great job"

"Beyla?" Jared asks "what are you doing down here? Who's baby is that?"

"This is Crimson and she's my baby" holding her to me, she is surprisingly calm right now. She probably knows Caius is coming to rescue us "now" I hold my hand up and freeze the both of them. When I do I see I'm in a kitchen, huh? Good instincts I have.

Going to the fridge I pull out some water, when I do I drink it before grabbing some food. After eating a bit, Crimson wakes up and I see she's hungry. She also needs her diaper changed, luckily I have a diaper bag with me. After changing my baby, I open my shirt and feed her.

I hear banging on the door "Paul! Jared!" Jacob Black's voice rings through "the prisoner escaped! Also the Volturi are going to be here shortly!" I then hear running footsteps. Not liking any of this, I use my powers to form another thick wall of ice.

When I'm done feeding Crimson, I burp her as I wait for Caius. I try to stay calm but nothing is working, when the door opens I stay on guard especially when someone breaks through the wall. When I see it's Caius, I smile "Caius" he sighs seeing me before running and pulling me and Crimson into his arms.

"Oh god" he breathes out relieved "you are never leaving the castle by yourself ever again"

"I was by myself when I was kidnapped" reminding him, he pulls back and gives me a look "what? I mean if we're stating what happened"

"Crimson?" He asks and he sees our daughter sleeping but her tiny hands have a firm grip on his shirt. I slowly hand her over, I look at the door.

"Where's everyone?" I ask as I go to the door and suddenly I fall in pain screaming, I feel a burning come from my wrist and see a bite mark.

"Beyla!" I hear Caius but I don't register what's happening before my neck is snapped.

~Caius's POV~

I watch as a vampire snaps my mates neck, it takes everything in me not to rip the person apart. Mainly because Crimson is in my arms and she's crying very loudly, I see one of the Volturi guards destroy the vampire. "Sh" I rock Crimson in my arms "it's alright"

"Did you find them?" I see Bella and her gasp when she looks down at Beyla's body "Beyla!" Is Beyla dead? I mean she was bitten by a cold one vampire but then her neck was snapped. What does this mean?
