(she's wearing that with wavy hair) a couple weeks have passed since I have been home. it was stressful to say the least, I was trying to get my mind off everything with surfing, but we all know how that works. Kai was mad at me for the first week about how i let my anger control my actions but finally got over it. today we are going to Luis's final game at the goodwill games, we already got off the plane last night and are driving there now. I was excited to see my brother again and Dean, don't tell him I said that though. we got out of the car and took a seat in the stands on the duck side, I looked around and smiled when I spotted Dean and Luis right by the boards just waiting since they still had 3 minutes before the game begun so i ran down the stands and to Luis. I hugged him right as he looked at me
L- holy crap! what are you doing here???
A- I told you, we said we would come to the final game! i wasn't gonna miss this!
he smiled as we pulled away, he wiggled his eyes making me confused until I turned my head seeing Dean looking at me with wide eyes as chuckled
A- hello Dean
he didn't even say anything before he dropped his stick and picked me up with his arms wrapped under my butt to hold me up
D- I have missed you more than you can even imagine Ash, im sorry for the fight we had! I know it was dumb but-
i put my hand over his mouth to stop him from talking as Fulton chuckled next to us
A- I'm over it Dean, we both were heated and things got out of hand. now kick ass on that ice you hear me? or i stg I will beat your ass
D- I will hold you to that
he put me down as we heard the buzzer go off, so I kissed his cheek and ran back to my seat to watch the game go down. they were getting destroyed, then I heard a duck call? i looked over and saw Bombay making me roll my eyes and sit back as half the ducks ignored him until they finally listened. They played again after his little talk when finally, half quarter started, and they went to the lockers, so I followed. i waited until Bombay's speech started and walked in making him and the ducks look at him, his face was priceless
A- only came in to tell you guys to stop being lazy asses and play. I have seen you all do it once before
for once Charlie was the one to speak up
Ch- how do we do that? they are bigger than us
Ad- yeah we can't win with that
I stood next to Bombay not knowledging his presence as I spoke to the ducks
A- you don't need strength to win. strategy is all you need in this.
G- strategy?
A- yes. I watched over their tapes every little detail and i think I know exactly how to win
I than told them everything i knew before they had to go back out, I was about to leave the locker room but Bombay stopped me
B- look kid I just wanted to apologies for what i said to you. I was out of line with the whole thing, I know you were just anger and i had a long conversation with your sister and her girlfriend.
A- where are you getting at?
B- I just wanted to say I'm sorry for it all and if you want, I saw a few scouts here from this school called Eden Hall. I can put in a good word for you, they have a amazing hockey team
A- really?! you would do that for me?!
he nodded making me jump up and down from excitement and hug him
A- thank you thank you! i forgive you for the whole thing, we both were out of line
B- you're welcome, I need to get back. see you around reaper
i chuckled as he walked out of the locker room, I did a little happy dance before running back to my seat and sitting next to Kai
K- what's with the smile?
A- Bombay apologized and he is going to put a good word in for me to Eden Hall!
Ax- no shit! I went there, best hockey team in the state! that's how I was able to play in the NHL
K- that's really amazing Ash, I'm sure mom would be proud
i nodded and looked back at the ice watching the duck's play. they ended up winning and I cheered so loudly with the crowd, I ran down the stands and in front of the boards slamming my hands against them cheering more. Dean looked at me and skated to the door where I was an picked me up hugging me
D- your plan worked! you do have a brain behind that prettiness after all!
A- I have a lot more than just a pretty face Portman
he looked at me smiling as he removed his helmet an gloves dropping them next to me before holding my face slightly confusing me
D- thank you for everything
I was about to reply but next thing I know his lips were on mine and we were kissing, I could hear Kai and Axel cheering for us which made me smile. he pulled away first both of us still smiling like idiots. those brown eyes filled with light for the first time, I think I finally found out what was behind those pretty brown eyes....
