I listened in on the conversation more, I was confused on what they were talking about.

D- I told you I have nothing! I have been here and not there to work

i heard a sicken noise from down there, my heart sunk. I let my feet carry me all the way back down the stairs and to that hallway where I saw Dean on the ground and the man standing over him. I didn't think before I ran to the dude and shoved him away from Dean

D- Astrid don't

I looked at Dean ignoring him as I looked back at the man

??- ah so this is the little bitch you have been slumming it with, got a say she is more whoreish than that other bitch

A- go to hell

the guy chuckled looking at me as he stepped closer

??- say that to me one more time little girl and see what happ-

I didn't let him finish before I clocked him in the jaw, my hand stung from the punch as I knew got violet before now. He looked at me and shoved me back hard causing my back to hit the wall, I felt the pain all over again as Dean got up getting in front of the guy putting his hands on his chest

D- don't touch her dad, you need to go

??- don't fucking tell me what to do boy

O- enough!

Orion walked over an moved them apart right as Alec stood next to him keeping Dean on one side an his father on the other. Kai and Luis ran over to me helping me up as I winced from the pain

K- are you alright?!

A- y-yes I'm fine

L- I'm going to kill him

he went to walk over but Alec was faster an held him back so that Orion and some of the other guards can walk him out. Dean looked at me before following as I sighed

Ax-what was that about?

A- I don't know all I saw was the guy hit Dean so I intervened

K- I told you this woul-

A- shut up Kai, I'm not dealing with you lecturing today.

I moved away from her and started heading out of the arena. I made it back to my dorm right as Fulton caught up to me

F- hey! I heard what went down, you okay???

I opened the door to my dorm an we both walked in as I quickly removed my brace and laid on my bed on my stomach. Fulton got the idea and grabbed the lotion that I was told to you and had me remove my jacket so he can rub it onto my back

A- to answer your question, yes. only a little pain, Dean is more pissed at me though

F- oh well, he has the anger like my sister. they both get mad and woah it's game over

I turned my head to look at him as he was forced on rubbing the medicine into my lower back

A- you never talk about your family, can you tell me about it?

he took a moment to answer but he did after a few

F- well i have a younger sister, her names Scarlett. she's only a year younger than me and is a firecracker. she plays hockey as well #43. we live with our mom Ruby is Stillwater, she works so hard to raise us and we give her hell. she had us at 16/17 since our dead-beat dad Ian was never around only when he pleases. 

A- oh? tell me more, I'm curious about your life now

he chuckled but continued

F- Dean has visited my family a lot, he hits on my mom all the time which is gross but him and Scar have a very good brother sister friendship which I think is good since she doesn't like people that often. we call her princess as that has always been her nickname on the ice. she actually goes to Eden but plays hockey for a completely different team (pretend shush) and actually she's dating Dwayne

I looked at him in shock as he laughed 

F- trust me i thought the same, but nope they have been together for a while now. Luis and her never get along which I find funny since it's always about Mindy.

A- makes sense, I would love to meet this sister of yours. she sounds wonderful

F- trust me she is until she turns into the devil, I can actually take you home with me this weekend when I go to Stillwater since our season is over

A- i would like that Reed, I'm sure my family won't mind 

so that was the plan, Friday rolled around, and I packed to go stay the weekend with Reed's family. was i nervous? a tiny bit as I was raised preppy and I know he wasn't so uh we shall see how this goes.
