(that's what she is wearing) summer was the definition of a shit show. Dean ended up leaving my house after we got into a big dispute over Kai. she never stopped giving him a hard time about his living choices and he finally cracked and got in her face. I got mad and yelled at him which leads us too now. we haven't spoken in weeks and quite frankly I don't want to talk to him. I sat in the auditorium at Eden Hall with the rest of the ducks, Fulton told me that Dean was running a little late, but I just brushed it off. After some of the ducks embarrassed the living shit out of us and after we saw the principle I started walking with Adam to our lockers. we were chatting about some home shit when I heard some voices making me turn my head.
i saw this girl who stood about 5'2 maybe 5'3 give or take. she wore this country outfit (look back at the first chapter of does it hurt to see) with cowboy boots and a black hat, I could hear her accent loud and clear until i looked beside her and saw Dean. he was smiling at her which made my blood boil, right as I shut my locker, he walked over with her with a shit eating grin as she looked me up and down
D- long time no see Ash
A- yeah, whose the chick?
i crossed my arms over my chest as he chuckled looking at the girl who looked at me with a smirk
Da- the names Danielle Robertson, I'm one of the new recruits for the team.
A- and why are you with Dean?
D- she is one of my friends from back home, she came to visit me in Illinois when Dwayne pissed her off
adam chimed in with his usually cheerful voice
Ad- oh! your Dwayne's twin sister! he talked about you a lot, killer on the ice and off!
A- you know her?
Ad- well of her, just official met! I'm Adam Banks
Dani and him shook hands as I just kept staring with a glare
A- why were you with her all summer?
D- not all summer but half of it, i just told you Ash. she was visiting.
Da- I don't see the issue tbh
I looked at the girl looking her up and down glaring which she didn't seem to like very much
A- it's a issue when your holding onto my boyfriend like a lost child
she rolled her eyes looking at me with the same glare
Da- watch it. we used to do this all the time back in Illinois but let me guess he didn't tell you hm?
A- tell me what.
Da- that he had his tongue down my throat the whole time I was there, did you get to meet his parents? didn't think so. you cake eater's think you're so high and mighty until one thing out of place than shit hits the bricks.
I looked at Dean and he was looking at the lockers not bothering to look at me but he seemed unphased, so I decided to play the petty game. I grabbed Adam's hand interlocking ours which confused him
A- don't worry! Adam and i were just about to go shopping, you two can join if you like?
I caught Dean look down at Adam's and my hand before glaring at me as I just smirked
Da- I have to go find Dwayne but I'm sure we can meet again Astred
I nodded at her as she walked off Dean starting to follow slowly behind, i waited until they were around the corner to let go of his hand
Ad- so mind explaining what that was about?
A- I didn't want him to think he got to me or her for that matter so I just grabbed your hand!
Adam looked at me for a moment before smirking
Ad- why don't we keep making him jealous?
A-how?
Ad- we fake date of course, only being a couple when they are around and eventually, he will break
A- do you really think that can work?
he nodded as I got excited hugging him making him laugh
A- thank you thank you!
Ad- anytime 'girlfriend'
I pulled away laughing as well
A- shall we go 'boyfriend'
he laughed more as we began to work, maybe this plan will work, or it might just lead me into a ditch where I won't be able to leave.
