Chapter 3: Advice, and Other Things

I'm back at the hotel, in my room of course. But I'm not alone. I have...a few Idols from Hololive with me, Usada Pekora is here as well as Ookami Mio. But the other four are unfamiliar. First off we've got the same brown haired toast girl from before, her name was Matsuri Natsuiro. Next to her was Shirakami Fubuki, dressed in black and white. She seems nice, but I can't judge just by looks alone. Sitting on my bed was Shion Murasaki, a short, silver haired girl with clothes that made her look like a witch. Along with a hat to seal the deal. And lastly, next to her was the only member of the EN branch here, her name was Amelia Watson. Short, blonde haired blue eyed girl with a white shirt covered mostly brown layers. A hat onto of her head with a brown mustache I take it, and equipped with a magnifying glass gave me the impression that she's a detective. Or wants to be one anyway. "So, why are you all here again?" I broke the silence to ask an obvious question. They didn't tell me why they came along, but they did it on their own accord I guess. "Oh yeah...good question," the detective said like she didn't know either. A lightbulb appeared over Matsuri's head as she exclaimed "OH!" She then turned her attention to me, as well as pointing a finger. "I have an idea. Since you're new, why don't we all give you some pointers, yeah?" She announced, which made everyone else go "YEAH!" Except for Watson, she just said "Cool, why not." It couldn't hurt to take some pointers, so I grabbed a pen and paper from nowhere at all, and wrote everything down.

The paper had only 6 points in total, and all of them seemed to be somewhat important. "Firstly, know your audience," Matsuri proclaimed. I guess that's helpful. I'll most likely be streaming to teenagers so I need to provide video games teenagers play. "Secondly, don't be boring," Shion's the one talking now. "If you think you are, spice it up with some humor." Sense of humor, yeah I've got that. "Third, do drinking streams 5 times a month!" When she said this, I stopped writing half way through that to process what she just said. "Repeat that, will you?" I ask, looking up at who said that - it was Matsuri. "Get drunk 5 times a month, or more if you wan- mmph!" Shion had gotten up from my bed and covered the drunkards mouth. "Fourth, switch up the content you provide. Like karaoke, drawing etcetera," the white fox had finally spoken up since she got here. At least she provided a good point. "Fifth-peko, interact with your viewers. When you get a donation, if you're able to, thank them for it-peko," Pekora also provided a good point. The detective ignored the situation next to her in the form of 'short girl silences other short girl' and gives me the last point. "And finally, always remember to have fun." A happy tone was accompanied with those words. And with that, the paper I had now has 5 helpful points I need to become a Vtuber. The stupid suggest Matsuri gave me was there too, but I won't take it to heart. Speaking of, she was released by Shion some time later. She'll remember that.

The visit from these girls were short lived, since they all have schedules they gotta follow. And right now, they all have to stream...well, except for Usada Pekora. Apparently she takes one 24 hour break each week, and today was that break. As everyone left, we exchanged words of good luck. Then it was just me and her. I turned to look at the girl and was surprised to see a smug look on that face of hers. "What?" I asked out of confusion. "Nothing-peko." She walked backwards only to bump her legs into my bed, sitting down normally like she didn't just mess up. "Is there anything you'd like to do since you're on a break?" The bunny in question rubbed her chin as she looked up at my ceiling. About two minutes later, she looked down at me. "Do you want to play some video games-peko?" I nodded, since I'm also bored, and this will pass the time. She took a look around, in search for a game console and was shocked to find none. A gasp came from her mouth. "Oh right, sorry about that." I apologized, I forgot to unpack my stuff. Though all I had unpacked were clothes. I walked to the closet and dragged one of the cases out into the open. I unzipped it and took out the only thing separating me from my game console - a bunch of clothes.

There, all of my clothes are out of the way of my console. I took it out and held it up to reveal an Xbox Series X, along with a bunch of cables. I wasn't a PlayStation girl. I went over to the bed and placed it down gently. "Can you set this up while I put my clothes back?" I ask Pekora, who agreed to in excitement. "Woaa-Peko! I never played with this one before." As went to do her thing and I did mine.

We both were done with out tasks, and now my clothes were back in the suitcase and the TV was now displaying the Xbox home screen. "Which do you want to play?" I gave her two options: Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare or Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. She chose the latter, which was Modern Warfare. I booted up the game though it took a minute to load. While it did, Usada pulled out her phone and began to text someone. I knew this because I could hear her type letters. Once 6

the game loaded up, we went into a private match just to assess our skills, in the form of a '1v1' of course. As another loading screen popped up, "Get ready to lose-peko!" She seems confident, but it's not like it would do anything. "Sure," I saw that the exact moment the match began.

After the match...

The match was over, and Pekora was silently sobbing. There were no rules, you could do whatever you want. She went with the MP5 and I went with the AX-50, a sniper rifle. I looked at her then at the screen, showing that she didn't get a single kill, but 100 deaths. I had the exact opposite, 100 kills and 0 deaths. "You..you cheater!" the girl cried in sadness. I didn't say anything, but I did give her a pat on the back. "You tried, and that's what matters." She was about to say something but a knock on the door cut her off. Then, a sinister smile appeared on the girl's face. "Heh, heh, heh. She's here." A confused look appeared on my face, as I looked back at the TV just to go back to the game menu. Pekora opened up the door to reveal another girl, possibly from Hololive. I wasn't looking at who was there since I was busy changing my load out. "Welcome, Botan. Come in, come in" Botan? Who's that? I turn to look at who just walked into my room. The girl in question looked like she was from Hololive, but she looked oddly cool. Dark grey and white aesthetic, white hair along with the fact that she's a lioness. "Sutōkā, meet Shishiro Botan. Hololive's best FPS player-peko." Oh, I understand now. "Is she who you were texting before?" I wanted to confirm, but then she nodded her head. "So, you want me to play against her because you lost?" Botan looked at me, then back at Pekora. "Yes-peko." I didn't mind. I motion for the lioness to come over and take a seat on the bed. It wasn't the largest, but it's large enough for two people to sit on. Botan had to tinker around with her controller settings but I didn't mind. When she was finished, the girl gave me the A-Ok to start the game, so I did.

After the second match...

Pekora had her jaw glued to the floor the entire time we played. I won again, but Botan didn't really let that affect her. The bunny however couldn't believe her eyes. No one in Hololive could beat Botan, except me. Same weapons, but the same outcome. Shishiro did manage to get 2 kills on me, which was nice. But at the end of the match, I died twice and got another hundred kills. Botan got 100 deaths but 2 kills. "No waaay!" The bunny exclaimed. She really couldn't believe that someone beat Hololive's best FPS players. "Good game, Shishiro," I put my hand out for a handshake. She looked at me with a smile, as she took it. "You can call me Botan." I smiled along with her, then we took our hands back. "You can call me Sutōkā then." After that, we continued to play regular multiplayer. Every now and then, the two took turns to play and even I gave them my controller to make it fair. We played until the sun began to set, which was roughly at 6 pm. The time arrived and the Idols got ready to head out. Parting ways, I gave them both a hug as a parting gift, sorta. "Until next time-peko," she said to me. All I did was give her a thumbs up with a smile, and then they left. Immediately after, I flopped onto my bed, grabbed my controller and continued to play, until the next morning of course.
