Tara woke up at seven. Looking over at her window, the sun shone as her wake-up call. She looked over to see her phone buzzing with a text.

'hey, bunny' from 1 am.

How can that boy think she was up at 1 in the morning? Tara rolled around, contemplating whether or not she should get up. She got up out of her bed and walked to her bathroom to get ready. She played her music as she stripped down to take a shower.

Seth

Earlier that week, Seth was covering, looking at some paperwork with his mom."I'm happy that's you going to be retaking classes."

"Yeah, I guess it's about time."Seth looked at his mom as she helped him sign up for college classes.

Seth wanted to become an astronomy teacher. He would always run outside to look at the stars naming every constellation he could when he was little. He would love to go to space. The zero gravity is nothing but darkness. But he couldn't; it wasn't his dream after the incident.

His dream now was getting revenge on the son of a bitch that wronged his family. Seth was going over his schedule before heading to bed, texting tara.

Tara

Tara got out of the shower and dressed for her day. It's been a couple of weeks since Liv and Allen had to drop out of school. Rumor has it that she got pregnant. Tara wished them the best of luck. She was getting her teaching degree in business and a minor in writing and English. She grabbed her stuff and walked out to her car; she parked in student parking and went to the student kitchen to get some coffee.

"I heard what happened with Allen and Liv; I'm so sorry.' a girl in her law classes said, walking past her.

"Don't worry, I'm not sad about it; dumb and dumber needed to find each other, right."Tara laughed out a little, and the girl smiled. She made her coffee and sipped it while walking in the crunchy leaves of fall. She slipped on her coffee as she walked. She overlooked a bench under an empty tree. She sat down and opened her computer, and got to work. The second-year and this year, we'll get a bit better.

After a while of working, she felt something on her neck, a cold gaze that could follow her for the rest of her days; frozen in place, the icy feeling made her turn around to see a bird. A raven was perched on a tree overlooking her as she studied. She checked her watch and got up quickly.

"Shit, I'm late."She grabbed her things and walked as fast as possible to her English class; she found a seat and took her notes.

Seth POV

The feeling of falling made my head; the painstaking anger was building up inside me as I just had to watch. Watch what he did to him, the feeling of being angry, scared, and losing hope in just a second.

The feeling of pain that won't leave you, a burden that will always be there. A nightmare everlasting.

Seth

Seth woke up dripping sweat. He was in his room and looked outside, and it was morning. He pushed his hair back and got out of bed. he grabbed his phone to check the time.

"SHIT!"

He ran to his bathroom to get ready, grabbed a black tee and some jeans throwing on his boots and backpack. He grabbed his keys for his bike and drove late to school. He parked in the student parking and ran to his English class. He was late and on his first day.

"Your late."The teacher said, looking at him.

"Yeah, it won't happen again, Ma'am."Seth sat in the middle next to some girl who was busy working.

"Like I was saying in any good book and relationship in general. It is about trust; think of your friends and look at them. Do you trust your friends?"

'Keep your friends close but your enemy closer.'A man named Sun Tzu is credited with making that phrase, but it was first heard from the media in 1974 in part two of Godfather Movies."Seth said, looking at him.

"So what, you trust your enemy more than your friends?"The girl next to him said. It was Tara; when did she take this class.

"No, I know what my enemies are cause I can trust my gut. sometimes I can't trust my friends."Seth looked at her. The whole class looked at them when they were debating.

'Who can you not trust your best friend but you can trust someone you just met."

"Cause maybe a friend can turn into someone's enemy; your enemy might have been someone you trusted so much that you would haven't anything for them, but instead, they turn out to be a huge dick."

"Alright, cool, the both of you, well, you too will work wonders together. your names, please."

"Tara Oriana,"Tara said

"Seth Amaris," Seth said, looking at her.

They continued the lesson, and Seth and Tara would look at each other out of the corners of their eyes. The class ended, and Seth waited for her. "Can we talk?"

"How can you not trust your best friend, but you can trust me, "Tara said, looking at him; the coast was evident when they left the classroom.

"I trust Milo if that's where you're going, and I trust you; I stood up for you against my father; you know how much trouble I was in," Seth said, turning in front of her.

"You could have told me I was drunk and see shit, but you had to tell me the truth." tara back was against the wall.

"Cause I don't like lying, "Seth growled, making Tara shut up. His hands were entrapping her, and she looked up at him.

"Did someone hurt you?"Tara looked at him; Seth was still cooled; he let her loose and started walking.

"No." Seth said; she walked; he stopped and looked back at her still near the classroom."You coming bunny."

"Not until you start talking."Tara crossed her arms.

Seth looked at her, getting flustering looking at the little girl. A human girl. How can some fragile creature have s much power against him."Little human.' he said, starting to walk toward her.' You not ready for that story, know me better first. Before I tell you my dark side." he said in trapping her in his arms again and whispering near her neck in hear ear making Tara shiver with desire.

She held his pinky finger as they walked to class. "Can you meet me at the library? Around 3?" Tara said she had economics class, and he had chemistry.

"Alright," Seth said; he looked at her as she walked to her next class; he turned around and walked. Someone walked fast and bumped into him."Watch it." he said, but the guy disappeared into the small slurry of students. But a smell of the kid who bumped into him. Smelt familiar whiskey and blood. He looked at his shoulder and saw a tiny droplet of blood.
