Chapter Twenty-Seven | Funeral

Tara wakes up in Seth's room; a light chill fills the room, and Seth snuggles closer to Seth, who has a book open and comforts tara, rubbing her side. She stirs awake and slowly sits up and yawns; rubbing the sleep out her eyes, she looks over at Seth. "morning, handsome." tara said, kissing his cheek.

"Morning, bunny." Seth's voice was groggy and sounded like he had just woken up.

"I had fun last night," she said, getting up and straddling his legs. she placed her head on his shoulder and looked at him, her hair falling on her face.

"You were amazing, bunny."He kissed her neck, and she closed her eyes. He darted his tongue, licking a stip and kissing it, making Taras's eyes roll. Seth's phones started ringing, and he grabbed Taras's hips, moving them back and forth.

"Seth, your phone," Tara said before moaning.

"Not important," Seth said, calming her mouth. she rolled her eyes and bit his lip, making him let go. She reached over and grabbed his phone.

"It's your dad," Tara said, kissing him once more, then getting out of bed and going downstairs to make something.

"Yes," Seth said, answering the phone.

"How soon can you get here."Seth fathers voice rang from the other side.

"45 minutes, top," Seth said, getting out of bed quickly and putting on some clothes.

"I got some news."Seth's father paused for a second."Why don't you bring Tara."Seth stopped walking down the steps.

"You sure?"Seth asked, going to the kitchen and kissing Tara's head.

"I'm sure."Seth's father hung up the phone, and Seth placed it in his pocket.

"Get ready; II can take over breakfast," Seth said, grabbing the curtain of eggs from her hand.

"What's wrong," she asked, tilting her head.

"My father has some news, and he wants me to bring you."Tara's eyes widen at his words, and she turns back to look at him.

"Your father."Tara sputters out, and he nods, giving her a wink.

"you'll be fine," Seth said, giving a light smack to her ass, making her squeak, and she ran upstairs.

She got ready, putting on a black shirt with skinny jeans and sneakers, and tying her hair back. She walked downstairs to prepare to have breakfast. "Does this make me look bad?"

"You look amazing," Seth said, kissing her forward, and they had food.

"Why did your father call and ask for me? Is something wrong?"

"I don't know why he called; he wants to meet you. You, my mother's apprentice, after all. and I don't believe anything wrong."Seth said, fishing for his food.

They walked out, and he grabbed two helmets."Ever ridden one."

"I've ridden you, that count," Tara said, looking up at him and giving a light smile.

Seth gave a light smirk, his tongue going his cheek. "little bastard."She scrunched her nose and took the spare helmet. He got on first, and she sat behind him, holding on to his lower waist, placing her head on his shoulder.

"Can you hear me?"Seth asked. Tara heard him in the helmet.

"yeah, ready?"

"Hold on tight, bunny."Seth revved the engine, and they drove to his parent's house. Once they got there, Tara took off her helmet, and her hair flowed down her back; Seth couldn't help but watch and stare. They walked up the steps, and Seth knocked on the door.

Milo opened it and let them in. the room was filled with Erick, Asha, Andre, Milo, Emma, Seth, and Tara."Thank you for joining me on short notice."Tara grabbed seths hand and hid behind him. Set smirked."there's been some information from the Deimos Pack. Seth's father rooted back as Andrea stepped up.

"From what they have told us, The head of the local coven is dead."

"Kian father?"Milo asked, and Andre nodded.

"There's no possible way Kian could have killed his father, right?"Emma asked, looking at the group. Milo put a hand on her shoulder.

"So what are we going to do about it? Kian is already in a killing spear. What does he want to do."

"Get rid of every werewolf off the face of the earth," Tara said, and everyone looked at her. "He was going off on some ritual that needed a sacrifice. He said that would help him get rid of all werewolves.

"The Seline incantation," Asha said quickly, grabbing something and leaving the room. Emma grabbed some paper, and the women started to huddle up."Something that powerful has a counter to make werewolves more powerful."Asha said, showing the dark side curse. It has to be firm the Fire Coven. Emma and Asha both looked at Tara."You start training tomorrow.

"I'm not ready; we figured out I'm part of the Fire Coven; how is someone from the Plant and Water Coveen going to help? I can't do this."Tara said, huffing out. Seth quickly went to her side.

"Yes, you can; I will teach you. Our powers come from different sources, but we are all connected."Asha said, walking to Tara and putting her hands on her shoulder."Do you trust me?"

"I trust you, High Priestess."Tara balmed after saying that, making Asha smile.

"Oh, stop, dear."Asha said, bringing her into a hug."She looked over to he husband."Let the children go; I have an idea."Asha said.

The four young adults were excused. they all walked out and looked at one another."Oh, um, Seth and Milo. This is Emma. She will help teach me. Emma, this is Seth and his second in command, Milo."

"It's lovely to meet you both."Emma said."I have to rush home, but ill see you tomorrow."

"Yeah, of course, drive safe," Tara hugged her.

"I'm heading out; I need to stock up on stuff and warn other rats of the pack," Milo said, pointing to his car.

"The pack.:Seth sia, looking back at Milo. "I haven't seen them since the full moon."

"I told them that you got caught up in something, and they understood. But I think it's timing for your office, Tara."Tara loksed at Milo, confused, then at Seth. "As your mate."

"We just started to date one another; you know what officiating a thing as that means, " Seth said, stepping in front of her. Blocking Milo. "On my terms, Tara will meet the pack when we're both ready."

Milo nodded and handed Seth, and waved bye to Tara. Seth grabbed his helmet without a word, and Tara climbed behind him, holding his shoulder.

They returned home, and he went to the kitchen to get a glass."Do you not want me to meet your pack."

"I do, oh of course I do."Seth's voice got softer."You meet them right now. When you need to start training and dad, I need to make a plan; it's too soon. Especially since we just created."

Tara looked away for a second."I thought you'd be embarrassed.:Seth came closer. "Because you thought I was human."

"Tara, when I met you. You gave me something no other person could've given me. I've met human girls, but nobody like you. You gave me a spark."Holding her face." something that led me towards you like a fire. Your warmth and caring smile.: Seth said, leaning in, giving a light peck to her lips."Your lips, your beautiful bright eyes."I would be dead if I were embarrassed. I could never be embarked of my little bunny."

Tara's eyes opened with tears, and she wrapped her hands around his neck."I think I feel for you again."

Seth smiled, bringing her closer by the waist and placing his head in the crook of her neck.
