Otto stepped into the Police station... He could just leave, he could just disappear forever, start a new life... But what would he do? He needed to win y/n over again, he needed to become the man she always wanted him to be, and this was the first step. He walked up to the front desk, where a lady was typing away.
"What can I do for you, sir?" She asked, looking up.
"I'm here to turn myself in," Otto told her.
"Ok, I'm just going to need you to sign these papers, and Officer Watanabe will take you into custody for questioning, what is your name?" she asked.
"Let me just finish signing these..." Otto muttered, he knew everything would go to hell once he revealed himself, he handed the papers back to the woman, and her eyes widened at the name scribbled on the documents, she looked up.
"...Otto Octavius?" she asked.
Otto's actuators revealed themselves and the woman screamed... Were they really that bad? He saw several officers draw their guns and he put his hands in the air, the actuators did the same. An Asian woman strode towards him and put him in handcuffs.
"You have the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law... How do we restrain the actuators?" the woman asked him, the officers didn't lower their guns.
"I'm not sure, but I'm not here to hurt anyone, I'm here to turn myself in," Otto explained.
"...Keep your guns on him, take him to the questioning room. We have a lot to talk about Doctor Octavius." She led him to the questioning room, he sat down, his head throbbed from the glaring fluorescent light flickering above him, and the woman sat down across from him.
"I'm Officer Watanabe, how are you alive?" she asked him, clicking her pen, Otto sighed and told her what happened the past two months for him... Or 15 years for her.
You couldn't believe that he was back... After all this time he was back, and you turned him away. You were fighting the urge to run after him, apologize to him and feel his body next to yours again... You still loved him, you loved Peter so, so much but you still loved Otto.
Breaking news!! Doc Ock, the supervillain previously thought to be deceased has returned and turned himself into the authorities... He is currently being imprisoned, waiting for his death to be overturned, and then he will go on trial for his crimes, we will continue updating this story when we hear more.
"He didn't seem like any of the other bad guys Dad fought..." Derek's voice said, you turned around to see him in the doorway, Marcy was glaring at the TV screen, which showed Otto's mugshot... He grew a beard... You liked it. No, no!
"He was different Derek," you said sadly.
"Is. He's alive Mom." Marcy corrected you.
"I know that..." you trailed off.
"Are you going to help him?" Derek asked.
"I'm hiring him an attorney... But that's all I'm going to do, I have to take you to your soccer practice." you smiled as you took his hand, Jack finally appeared "What's going on?" he asked.
"Mom's crazy ex is back," Marcy told him, you shot a glare at her.
"Yikes..."
"Let's go." you ignored the sideways glances, the whispers that circulated through the building as you left, let them talk.
"...Peter Parker was Spiderman?" Otto asked.
"Yes, he died fighting the green goblin," Yuri revealed as if this was common knowledge to Otto.
"Norman-"
"Harry took the mantle... And now Doctor Parker is the face of Oscorp. Do you still have any grudges towards the Parkers or Osborns?" Yuri asked.
"No, no I do not," Otto said.
"Now that I have told you everything-"
"You haven't-"
"I've told you what you needed to know. Now you've been charged with two kidnapping charges, 10 manslaughter charges, property damage, theft, and civilian harm, threats, and mental and physical damage to... everyone." Yuri listed it off, the author was not dedicated enough to actually figure out the exact crimes but I mean those summed it up.
"What am I facing?"
"Life probably, unless you have a good attorney-"
"Which would be me." A man in glasses and a cane walked in, followed by another smiling man.
"Oh great..." Yuri grumbled.
"Great to see you too, Yuri. My name is Foggy Nelson, this is my associate Matt Murdock, we're your attorneys." the second man offered his hand, and Otto attempted to shake it, he was still in handcuffs.
"I didn't hire any-"
"Doctor Parker hired us, don't worry Doctor, we'll get you out of here in no time," Foggy said, Otto just gave a nod.
Yuri glared at them before continuing. "We're going to need to undeclare you as dead, and then you'll be put on trial for your crimes."
"Can we talk to our client in private for a moment?" the man with glasses asked, Yuri sighed as she left the room, and Foggy sat down.
"Ok, so I think that we can get you like... 10 years of prison with a possibility of parole, already turning yourself in was the right choice..." Foggy started.
"Are you in control of those arms?" Matt interrupted.
"Yes, I have a new inhibitor chip installed, my old one was destroyed, which caused the AI to take over and influence my decisions," Otto explained.
"So they were controlling you?" Foggy asked.
"In a way but-"
"Perfect, that's perfect we can work with this, is there anyone who could back up your claims?"
"Peter Parker rebuilt this new chip 15 years ago, Oscorp should have the blueprints in the files, and Doctor Parker should know the basic workings of it," Otto told them.
"Ok, we're going to start building your case Doctor, I'm going to need you to stay here and wait for us, be cooperative but don't reveal anything else unless we tell you to. The best thing you can do now shows that you're the opposite of the Doc Ock that terrorized New York 15 years ago."
"I don't think I was exactly terrorizing-"
"Tell that to the victim's families, those wounds don't heal," Matt spoke up.
"...you're right."
"We'll keep in touch, Otto." Foggy patted Otto on the back.
Otto looked around his jail cell, Officer Watanabe had covered the actuators in Duct Tape, Otto wanted to point out that they wouldn't stop him... But he knew that would only hurt his case, he had to show everyone that the Doc Ock they knew was not him... Not anymore.
