Sometimes we forget we need validation and it can feel like we're drowning. Emotions play a big part in how our day goes and how it affects us. My emotions build until I snap and it turns ugly. My trauma and past have made me feel if I speak about my feelings I am burdening people. Validating emotions can shift how you think and the outcome you have for how you think.
There are times when you need to rant and there are days when all you need to do is cry. Letting yourself feel your emotions can be so freeing. If you even write down your emotions you can release the small storms that are brewing. There is always someone who knows how you feel and can relate. When you keep your emotions bottled up you can lash out at people who are just trying to help. We as people want to confide in others but society has made us feel the opposite. Never be afraid to express your emotions and let the storm out before it overtakes you.
You can be the catalyst for changing how you feel and how you see your situation. As always I am here for you all and I promise the way you feel right now can change as long as you want it to.
Breath, reflect, and be yourself.
