MERLIN'S P.O.V

We stood just outside the gates of Morgana's castle were no one can see us just yet. I was nervous. I had the right to be. I was about to just walk right in there and create a distraction that will that's a Long time.

If they all new about my magic, I could just walk in there and knock them all out. but noooooooo Arthur would have my head if he found out.

"Come on Merlin, we haven't got all day" Arthur said rolling his eyes. "can't we do something smarter like sneak in at night?" I said. he just shakes his head. I roll my eyes an start walking towards the gates.

I swear I will kill Arthur if I don't make it out.

I walked in the gate with my head up. noticing that the guards started to follow me, I got faster, and faster until I was running away from all the guards they had out there. I was running away when I saw the rest of the group sneak past.

Good thing I was a fast runner, or else I'd be dead.

I ran around the citadel, bumping into people occasionally, knocking some people down, apologizing occasionally. you know, the whole deal of running from Morgana's men.

I was just about to turn a corner, when I was flown backwards. I hit my head, knocking my self out.

LANCELOT P.O.V

We snuck into the dungeons. I felt bad about leaving merlin to be bate. I knew he had magic, but I also knew he would never risk letting Morgana know. that was too dangerous. I also knew that Arthur felt bad about leaving Merlin. he cared for the boy more than he would care to admit.

We knocked the guards out with some gas, then snuck into the volts. we searched the place, high and low. we were just about to give up when Gwain found it.

I patted him on the back, " well done Gwain" I said and gave the gem to Arthur.

We went back up to go back to the camp. but I went to find Merlin. I looked everywhere I could, but I couldn't find him. then I noticed that the guards were back in there places.

'Oh no' I thought. I knew what this meant. Merlin got caught. how do I break this to Arthur? How would he react? Would he blame me or himself? I shook my head, not wanting to think about that yet. I walked back to the camp site slower then normal. Merlin was my best friend, now he was gone.

Once I made it to the camp, Arthur looked around for Merlin. "Lancelot, where's Merlin" he said panic evident in his eyes. "I'm sorry sire, he's been caught" I said not looking up from the ground. when Arthur didn't speak I looked up.

He was just staring behind me. I was thinking that he was just surprised that Merlin was gone. but when I looked to the other Knights, they had the same face as our king. I turned around to see that there were knights running at us. I, and everyone else knew we had no chance at fighting them. so we just stood there, waiting to be brought to Morgana.

We were dragged to her throne room. we weren't the only ones there. Merlin was kneeling in front of her. Morgana had an evil smirk on her lips. "hello boys" she said. she had this sweet and innocent voice, yet at the same time it's evil and crude. I don't understand why she's like this. it's unfair.

"You have something of mine" she said, more to Arthur then to anyone else. "and I want it back" she got off her throne and walked to wards Merlin. Arthur tensed beside me. she picked Merlin up off the ground then grabbed a dagger and pointed it at his throat.

"Give it here Arthur" she said, probably meaning the gem. Merlin shook his head 'no'. "Merlin, she'll kill you if I don't" Arthur said, Merlin had a small smile on his face, and I knew what he was going to do. either he was going to use his magic, or be sarcastic. and I'm pretty sure it was sarcastic.

"If she kills me, she'll never get the gem from you" he said. that was actually a pretty smart thing to say. Morgana's eyebrows knitted together in confusion. "what do you mean?" She asked slightly cutting Merlins throat. "well, Arthur would hate more, so that lowers your chances of getting the gem from him". I knew he was just making this stuff up, but it made Morgana put the dagger down.

"Fine, if I can't kill him to get it, I'll just torture you and Merlin. that way I know for sure that you fools give me what is mine" she motioned for her men to brings the rest of us with her when she paused.

"Wait a minute"she said turning around. "I could just take it from you, your defend less she walked towards Arthur, trying to find it. when he didn't find it, she slapped him. then went to me, she checked my pockets. and when she found what she was looking for, she smiled an evil smile. "Thank you lance" she said walking away, dragging Merlin behind her.

"I still need your help Merlin" with that, her and Merlin disappeared into another room.
