Part 9

Few months later : Dixie and Noah are really close friends and mark sees him as his son , and Noah have a room in their house to sleepover . Dixie have never been to Noah's house , and she's also talking to griffin and Noah is so sad about it .

Dixie's pov:
Noah and I are really close friends . And I'm talking to a guy called griffin, he's really nice and sweet . I think I like him . And today we are going on our first date !

Noah's pov:
Dixie and I are good friends. But now she's talking to this guy griffin and he's taking her on a date ! I'm jus- ugh !! I still have feelings for that girl ! Well griffin is a lucky guy . Now it's 7pm and Dixie's getting ready for her date .

D: so what do you think ? ( spins around )
N: beautiful
D: thanks ! Do you think griffin will like it?
N: mhm
D: ( gets a call ) oh it's griffin! ( answers) Hey...okay...I'll be down soon ( hangs up) Noah I'm going now ! ( grabs her purse )
N: okay bye ( fake smiles)
D: by- are you okay ?
N: uh y-yeah
D: noah ( sits on the bed next to him) we've been besties for months and I know everything about you, what's wrong?
N: I-it's just- I still like you dixie , I know you told me you don't like me back but I do ! I can't stop myself for liking you ! And seeing you another guy makes me so jealous...I'm sorry .
D: noah please I want you to keep that in your mind . I don't like you . And if I did , I'm not going to date you !
N: why ?
D: because if we dated and gig married , how are you supposed to feed me and my kids ?! Griffin is a guy who has money and can make me live . Bye Noah ( goes outside to griffin)
N: ( starts crying)
M: ( enters Dixie's room ) hey dix- Noah , why are you crying son ? And where's Dixie ? ( sits on her bed )
N: d-Dixie went on a date w-with griffin
M: oh yeah she told me , now why are you crying?
N: mr.Damelio I like your daughter, since the day I met her . B-but when I told her , s-she said she doesn't like me back and if we dated and got married I can't make her live . Is money all she thinks about? I know it's really important and I don't even have 10 dollars but what about love ? I'm %100 sure that griffin is dating her for her money and not because he loves her.
M: it's okay son , song cry over a girl who doesn't like you . You seasoned much better
N: but no one like me ! Dixie is the first girl I ever talk to in my life! I thought she'll be mine one day but I guess not .
M: do you want me to help you ?
N: how ?
M: my assistant just quit and I need a knew one , do you wanna get the job?
N: r-really ?!
M: yeah
N: OMG ! Thank you so much !! ( Hugs him and starts crying)
M: ( laughs) no need to thank me bud .
N: ( starts laughing from the shock ) I-I'm gonna b-be rich ! I'm gonna buy a new car a-and a lot of clothes and a new phone and I have to tell my parents! I'm going to the cemetery! Bye mr.Damelio! ( runs to his car )
M: ( laughing ) bye son !

I can't believe this! I'm finally getting a job ! I went to the cemetery and sat between mom and dad's graves .

N: hey guys , I know I didn't come the last week but mr.Damelio just gave me a job ! I'm gonna be his assistant! I can finally make you proud ! B-but I miss y'all ( starts crying) I wanna hug y'all so tight . Life is so hard without you guys , can y'all come back? I really miss you . I wanna sleep next to y'all again, I wanna bother you when you cook mom , or when you drive me to school dad . I want you to yell at me and tell me that I need to clean my room ! ( lays between the graves ) I love y'all so much ( accidentally falls asleep)

At 12 pm

Dixie's pov:
I just got home and I was so happy because griffin asked me to be his girlfriend! And ofc I said yes . I went to my room and didn't saw Noah in there . I went to dads room and found him on his desk!

D: hey dad
M: hey sweetheart
D: where's Noah ?
M: he told me he's going to the cemetery
D: he didn't come back yet ?
M: no , I tried calling him but he didn't answer
D: I'm gonna go there to check on him .

I ran out of the room and went to my car . I drove ti the cemetery and walked in . I went to Noah's parents graves and saw him sleeping between them, it really broke my heart to see him like that .

D: ( sits next to him ) Noah , Noah wake up
N: hmm what ?
D: cmon let's go home
N: no I wanna stay here with mom and dad
D: you can come back tomorrow now let's go
N: fine ( gets up and goes to his car )

I waited for Noah to drive then I followed him to our house . We parked our cars then got in and went to dads room .

M: hey bud, did you tell them ?
N: mhm , I hope they're proud now
M: they are
D: tell them about what ?
N: your dad gave a job !
D: really ! What is it ?!
N: I'm gonna be his assistant!
D: that's insane! ( hugs him ) congratulations bestie
N: thanks
D: I'm gonna go and change my clothes ( goes to her room )
M: no Noah , let's go to my office to sign up some papers and I'll tell you more about the job .
N: okay .
