— THEY LANDED IN FRONT OF THE HYDRA FACILITY IN SIBERIA, STEVE AND JAMES HAD AGREED THAT IZETA HAD TO STAY IN THE QUINJET AND WATCH FOR ANY THREAT.
She watched as Bucky picked out a gun, while the back of the Quinjet opened.
"You remember that time we had to ride back from Rockaway Beach in the back of a freezer truck?" Steve recalled, while Izeta snorted in amusement.
"Was that the time we used our train money to buy hot dogs?" Bucky laughed, while Izeta smiled at the interaction.
"You blew three bucks trying to win that stuffed bear for a redhead." Steve chuckled, "What was her name, again?" James asked him.
"Dolores. You called her Dot." Steve replied, "What a charmer." Izeta teased, winking James' way.
"She's gotta be a hundred years old right now." Bucky huffed, "So are you." Izeta shot at him, making him nudge her.
She quickly gave Steve a hug when he told her that they had to go. He nodded at James before walking away.
"Be careful, alright? I don't want to see any blood on your face." Izeta told him, pointing her finger at him.
He took ahold of her finger and put it down, "I promise." He said, giving Izeta a kiss on the forehead before heading out.
She quickly let out a breath she didn't know she was holding. As butterflies flew around her stomach.
