It didn't take long for her to get a reply. Instead of a letter it was a cat, Grindelwald the white kitten had arrived once more at her door. After about 15 minutes of her returning back to her room she heard scratching at her bedroom door. She knew it would be Grindelwald and let him in as quick as she could. She opened the door and the little kitten walked in. He hoped onto her bed again and transformed back into Grindelwald.

"You have the book?" He said in a hushed voice.

Harley picked it up and passed it to him.

"Yes, this is it." Grindelwald looked at Harley and then looked down at her chest. He noticed a red mark across the front of her neck and chest. His smile faded, "Are you alright?"

"W-yes?"

Grindelwald carefully unbuttoned the top 3 buttons of her shirt and saw what she was wearing. "You have my pendent on?"

"Y-yeah. You left it here the last time you came so I thought I'd wear it for safe keeping. It keeps leaving marks on me though."

"It must know that you aren't a wizard. Take it off and I'll-"

"But it hurts you too."

"I know, but I'd rather it hurt me than you." Harley was touched by Grindelwald's kindness and let him take it from her. A couple minutes after she stopped wearing it the rash faded. "See, you look better already. We need to leave now, before someone notices you have this book."

"Adonis gave me it."

"He might not want you to leave without giving it back. We must go, drink this." Grindelwald gave Harley a vial of a type of liquid.

"What is it?"

"It's a potion that will turt you into a cat like me?"

"A kitten like you, you mean"

"Shh, I'm a very big and manly cat." He pouted.

"Sure... What does it taste like?"

"Ignore that, just swallow it."

Harley took the cork off of the top of the vial and drank what was inside. It tasted like lemon juice which shocked Harley a little as she was expecting a much worse taste. As soon as she swallowed the whole vial she began twitching a little bit and then she sunk down to a 2 foot tall being on the floor. Grindelwald sunk down too and he looked like a white cat again.

Harley tried to speak, but all that left her mouth was a "Meow". Grindelwald did the same, but this time she understood him as if she was speaking in English.

"Meow You're a ginger cat." He said. "C'mon, lets get out of here Meow."

Harley followed Grindelwald's tail and they left the little bedroom, walked through school and out to the Hogsmeade train station.

Once they got to the train station they hid behind a large rubbish bin and turned back to their human selves. Grindelwald turned back first. He sat his cat self down and grew into a human again, this time he ended up sitting crossed legged on the floor. He flicked his wand at Harley and she grew into a human again.

*Cough cough cough* "That was yucky. I think I got a fur ball." She said.

"Shh, you'll be fine. Let's wait for the next train." As they walked around the corner towards the platform Grindelwald's identity changed again into the man he turned into when they transported to Diagon Alley. He had long ginger hair, no facial hair and a fat round face. He wasn't dressed smartly either, more like a farmer. They sat next to each other and waited for the next train to come. It didn't take long for the first one of the day to arrive. Once the train was there, everyone who was waiting climbed aboard and sat inside.

Grindelwald and Harley shared a carriage. It didn't take long for Harley to wonder what they'd do as they hadn't got a train ticket.

"Grindelwald, we don't have a ticket."

"It's fine. Hold my hand for a second."

Harley did so, they magically transported themselves from the empty carriage back to Grindelwald's castle. As soon as they returned home, Harley started to miss Adonis. 'What if he thinks I used him to get the book.' She thought. Grindelwald was a legilimens so he knew exactly what she was thinking.

"Well you did use him." Grindelwald said. "Don't tell me you have feelings for him."

"Eww no. I barely knew him. It's just... he was kind to me. Apart from Queenie and Abernathy he was the only person to be kind to me in recent months."

Part of Grindelwald felt bad. He knew he wasn't a kind man, but he didn't want to upset her too much. "Remember, I'll take you home soon, as I promised."

"I know..." She seemed sad. "Can I write Adonis a letter explaining things to him?"

"No."

"What if he thinks I hate him?"

"If you tell him anything he'll send people here to hunt me down and put me back into the tomb. I can't have that again!"

"S-sorry. Is Abernathy around?"

"He'll be around here somewhere. Can you come with me quickly first?"

"Sure."

Grindelwald took Harley upstairs to her bedroom and the pair sat on her bed.

"What is it?"

"I- erm... don't want you to feel hatred for me, Harley."

"It's fine, I didn't mean that-"

"It's ok. It's just that I find it hard to be kind to people these days after so much has happened to me by people I thought cared."

"I get it."

"Thank you for trusting me, Miss Birdcross."

"No problem. I didn't really have much of a choice anyway."

Grindelwald went on, "This could have ended badly for you and I'm glad I haven't lost another acolyte."

"Another? Who else had died?"

"Oh erm... we'll discuss that later. Anyway, may I ask you something?"

"Ok..."

"Would you care to join me on a trip this evening?" Grindelwald asked shyly.

"A trip? We only just got back."

"I know, I know. I just want to do something special for you before I take you back to Godric's Hollow where I found you."

"Will Queenie and Abernathy be there?"

"No, well...erm... maybe tomorrow, but not tonight."

"Hmm, ok. Is this my reward?"

"I guess you could call it that." He stood up and walked towards Harley's bedroom door. "We'll leave in an hour." He left the room and Harley was left confused. She decided to have a nice shower and relax for the time being.
