Percy

"But you told that man..." He blinks.

I raise my eyebrows, waiting for him to catch on.

And then his eyes widen even more. I nod, all the colour has drained from his face.

"So you-" he shakes his head, "you-" he struggles to get the full sentence out. "If he- then why did you take me?"

"Isn't it obvious?" I ask, repeating what Void is telling me to say. "They can't know it's me, not yet. You're here to make sure they don't suspect anything."

He goes quiet, I rest my head back, looking up at the stars. I can hear kids screaming, things crashing together. What kind of monster is this?

The big kind. Void answers for me.

No shit, Sherlock.

Language, Perseus. Don't make me tell your father.

What's he going to do? Ground me? I roll my eyes, looking back at Stiles. The kid looks terrified, I would be too. "Can you move yet?" I ask.

He shakes his head.

I momentarily forgot he is still on Blackjack's back. "Do you want to get off?"

"I can't."

I almost smile at that remark, but Void prevents it. This kid is exactly like me, right down to the sarcasm. "Alright then, I'll take that as a no."

"Wait." He says as I turn to go inside. "Yes. I want to get off."

"Good." I face him, the urge to use my newfound power is overpowering. I focus on the water in his body, the plasma in his blood, and I tell it what I want it to do. And almost too naturally, he gets up, dismounting. Though i've used bloodbending on him before, he still looks shocked, his heart speeding up drastically. "I'll bring you to your cabin." I say, he walks beside me as I start off towards Cabin 3. He isn't stiff or uncoordinated in the slightest.

"My cabin?" He asks, his voice a little shaky.

I look at him. "How do you think you got through the barrier?"

"Barrier?"

"It's the force field around camp, protecting us from the outside world. Monsters and mortals can't get past it unless they have been given permission by someone on the inside."

"Monsters?"

"Like Scott, and Peter." I clarify. "Monsters."

"Werewolves? They're considered monsters?" He asks.

"Well, shapeshifters to be exact. But like all the rest, when they die they go to Tartarus. And then after a while they are sent back up to the mortal world to hunt down kids like you and I."

Even though I tried to simplify it, he still looks confused.

"Tartarus is a part of the underworld." I say. "You are a demigod, therefore you're scent is like a drug to monsters, their sole purpose is to hunt you down and kill you." I can see the questions on his face before he gets a chance to ask them. "Scott and the rest of your pack were drawn to you because of your scent, that is why there are so many of them in Beacon Hills. Whether they knew it or not, which I almost positive they did, they have been herding you, trying to lead you into a corner. Once they had you trapped, they would finish the job."

"No." He shakes his head. "Scott wouldn't."

"How are you so sure?"

"He's my best friend, he wouldn't try to kill me."

"Why do you think he was your best friend?" I ask, watching as the realization comes onto Stiles' face. "Why did you somehow get pulled into all his problems? Why were you always the one getting hurt?" I say, approaching my cabin. "He was always trying to kill you, Stiles. They all were. It's what they were born to do."

There is a moment of silence, he stares straight ahead as he walks. "You said I'm a demigod." He says finally. "That means I'm half God, half mortal." he looks to me for confirmation. I nod. "But you never said which God."

Void finally allows me to smile. "You're my brother, Stiles." I tell him. "And your father is the God of the sea. Your father is Poseidon."
