04 | as if nothing happened

Taehyung entered the college after his shift. He knew lunch had only just started, so he was in no rush to get anywhere. As soon as he walked down one of the empty halls, his eyes landed on Eun, who was about to walk past him.

"Eun", he called out, stepping to the side.

"Yeah?" She asked. To say Taehyung was disappointed would be an understatement. That was all she had to say.

"I- can we talk?".

"Arent we now?"

"I mean in private" Taehyung asked, frowning when she rolled her eyes and nodded.

They walked into an empty classroom, Taehyung frowning when she turned to look at him with a pissed off look.

"What did you wanna talk about?" She asked, leaning against one of the desks.

"Is that really all you have to say to someone you're meant to be dating?" The male said, hands pointing towards himself as he watched her roll her eyes again.

"What do you expect, Taehyung? You have not given me any attention, never surprised me with anything, or taken me on dates?" She said, throwing her hands in the air.

"What are you talking about? I asked you if you wanted to come to mine the other day, but you said you had plans with your girls. I asked last week if I could take you on a date, but you said you had already made plans?" Taehyung stated, hands placed to his sides.

"What about me? You always complain about how I give you no attention or call you beautiful? Even though I do. When was the last time you kissed me, hugged me or wanted to even spend time with me!"

"Maybe cause I dont want to?!" She yelled, hands in the air as she watched Taehyung's shocked expression.

"W-what"

"I don't want to be in this relationship anymore. I am sick of you always being the one that wants shit. You're needy as hell, and I can't handle it!"

"So is wanting to feel loved is being needy now?"

"I am done, Taehyung. I am breaking up with you," She said. Taehyung felt his heart drop as he shook his head. He stood up from where he was and walked to her.

"B-babe, no, we have been together for so long- this is just another silly argument. Let us go out tonight! I will spend all my money, and we can do something enjoyable!"

"I'm done, your just embarrassing. Taehyung", She said, walking out the room, leaving him there, hand trying to reach her arm but was now by his side as he felt his heart shatter.

He felt numb as he looked around, not knowing what to do at this point. Everything was a blurred mess. The sound of birds chirping was now muffled background noise. Tears began to slip from his eyes.

He let out chocked sobs as he covered his face, slowly sitting on the floor as he watched all the effort, love and time he put into that relationship wash away.

"Yoongi, I am telling you, if I could be any animal, I would be a cheetah," Jimin said, arm linked with Yoongi's as they walked down the empty hallway. "That is ridiculous, babe. Why would you not pick a lion?" He replied, shaking his head.

"Imagine all the fast sex we could have if I was a cheetah!" Jimin gasped.

"My boyfriend is an idiot," Yoongi said out loud, realising his fate.

"Shut up, you know I am right."

"No, I just know your stupid as hell" Jimin rolled his eyes at his boyfriend's reply as they walked past the classrooms. His eyes landed on a boy on the floor crying his eye out, a hand placed over his mouth to muffle the sobs.
