Taehyung's eyes were closed while his fingers were laced with Jungkook's hair, and a content smile tugged on his pink lips.
They were both lying in bed watching TV. Taehyung started work in an hour and did not want to leave the warm bed.
Ara was sleeping between the two males as they watched TV in Jungkook's bedroom. It was a chilly morning.
The sun was out, the wind was hitting the windows, and Taehyung had no motivation to get out of bed.
The raven was watching stranger things while Taehyung was currently looking at apartments on his phone. The brunette has saved enough money to get a flat.
As much as he loved staying here, it was time for him to get his own place. "When I pick you up, we should take Ara to the park", Jungkook suggested, eyes now on Taehyung, who placed his phone down and let out a little chuckle.
"She can't even walk, Kook."
"I know, I mean.. it would be nice to go for a walk. I can bring her pram?" Jungkook suggested. It was not a bad idea. Taehyung only had a short shift today, so as long as it was not dark when they walked in the park, they should be fine.
The brunette nodded, giggling, when his best friend got excited. He tapped his phone, letting out a little groan when he realised the time.
"I have to get going", He grumbled, stretching as soon as he stood up.Jungkook hummed softly in response, too busy staring at the other getting changed in a hurry.
"I can feel your gaze burning into my back", The brunette snickered, turning his head slightly to see his best friend letting out a chuckle.
"See you later," Taehyung said, leaving the room after pecking Ara's forehead. The raven wished that Taehyung did not have to work, but it is what it is. He had to earn money somehow. Jungkook considered working.
He sometimes helps out his parents at their car dealership whenever he does not have training or school work.
"Morning, Tae!" He heard Jin call out from behind the cashier when he entered the cafe.
"Morning, how long till we open?" Taehyung questioned, walking towards the iPad that was sealed into the wall—clocking in.
"We got ten minutes. You good to be upfront today?""Sure thing", Taehyung replied, arms gripping the straps of his bag after signing in. He walked to the back of the cafe, hooking his bag onto the hook that was against the wall.
"How is Ara?" Jin asked who was in the kitchen wiping down the bench. "She is great. Jungkook is picking me up after my shift so that you can meet Ara then?"
"Sounds good" Jin smiled in return, grabbing a few ingredients to place on the table.
"You currently living with Jungkook?"
"Yeah, I have not even heard from my parents." Taehyung chuckled slightly while shaking his head. "Not surprised".
"What are your plans for your living situation?"
"I have been looking at a few rentals, some nice apartments but quite pricey."
"Yeah, I have a friend who owns a building filled with apartments. They are nice. Are quite cheap as well. I can give you his number?" Jin offered.
"That sounds amazing, thank you!" Taehyung smiled.
"I love living with Jungkook and his parents, but It would be nice to have my own place. Somewhere I can call my own and a good area for Ara to grow up in." Jin nodded in reply.
He understood why Taehyung would feel that way, it made sense for him to get his own place, and he hoped he could help the male out. "I better set up", Taehyung yawned, hand over his mouth as he walked out to the tables. Taehyung felt thankful that they were not busy today.
It was a slow day. With one hand placed on his aching back, he walked to grab his bag when he saw Jungkook walk into the store with Ara in his arms.
After grabbing his bag, he walked toward the two with a large smile when he made eye contact with Ara. "Hi, my Baby", Taehyung gasped, hands spread out— ready to have her in his arms.
"How was she today?" The brunette questioned, looking up at the basketball player who smiled.
"She was perfectly fine. She has had a bottle and had a nap." He did feel a little worried about Ara. He trusts Jungkook, without a doubt.
That does not mean he does not worry, no matter your experience with children— Taehyung could not help but worry. "That is great to hear!" Taehyung smiled, pecking the baby's cheeks before walking out the back.
"Is this Ara!" Jin gasped when he heard the door open, walking over to them both. "Oh, Tae, she is so small. So cute!" "I have to head back for my shift quickly, but I ended up texting my friend with your number and letting him know about that stuff," Jin said, saying bye to them before they left the cafe.
"What was that about?" Jungkook questioned as they walked towards the car. "Nothing. Why?" The brunette asked, confused, head-turning to the side as he watched Jungkook open the boot of his car.
"Jin said he sent your number to one of his friends? I was just wondering how come?" The raven questioned, taking the baby pram out before shutting the car door.
"Oh, that was for apartments. Apparently, Jin has a friend who owns a building filled with them." Taehyung gently placed Ara in the pram before looking up at Jungkook, who slowly nodded his head.
"Why the curiosity?" Taehyung asked as they started walking down the pathway, heading towards the park.
"I was just wondering, " the younger hummed, not believing it for a second but deciding to drop it.
"Should we go sit under that tree?" Jungkook questioned, pointing towards a tree that provided a lot of shade. "Sounds good"
