"Oh! she is adorable!" Jimin whispered as he stepped closer to the cot with a now awake Ara, who had just woken from her nap.
Taehyung and Jungkook had spent the time waiting for Jimin and Yoongi to arrive, sleeping themselves and catching up on some school work. Taehyung had called Jin, his boss.
Let him know what has happened and ask for a week's leave, and then he will be back. He was lucky he was friends with the male.
Jin was okay with it as long as he got to meet Ara. The brunette still had a lot of planning to do. Wanting to make sure he had a solid routine and that Ara was getting the life she deserved.
When Jimin and Yoongi arrived, they had brought gifts for her, placing them on the floor as soon as they saw her in the crib.
Lots of silent squeals from Jimin and light smiles from Yoongi. They both had sat on the small couch in the corner of the room, holding Ara, slowly falling asleep.
"Does she fall asleep often?" The pink-haired male questioned, eyes now on Taehyung, who had shaken his head.
"No, she has not been taking many naps as she should. Not sleeping the greatest, but we should be getting there. I have an appointment with a nurse who was there with Eun and gave birth."
"Speaking of Eun, have you heard from her?" Yoongi questioned, finger brushing against Ara's.
"No, I haven't. I have seen her, though— at school." Jungkook looked towards Yoongi, who slowly nodded.
"Do we have a game coming up? I heard coach cancelled it again," Yoongi questioned, now looking at Jungkook, who nodded.
"I heard that as well. The boys think it is because of the new team. Who decides who goes to the games? we have two teams now, so one gets left out."
"It is so stupid, though. I saw no point in adding another team."
"They only did that, so the school looks like it is sports focus as well as academic", Taehyung said, chuckling slightly before placing his hand over his mouth, letting out a little yawn.
"Do your friends know?" Jimin asked, fingers brushing over Ara's hair as he spoke.
"Yeah, not from me, though. A lot of people knew. Rumours spread fast, I guess."
"Were they supportive?"
"No. I don't know why I expected them to be," Taehyung muttered, eyes turned towards the floor. That was a good question, though.
Why did he think that they would care? "In my opinion, Jake is the only one I don't like. With Choi, I feel like he is scared to have his own opinion," Jimin confidently said.
"No, I agree. It makes sense. Those two have been friends for years. Maybe Choi feels like he needs to be loyal to Jake?" Jungkook continued, now looking at Taehyung, who shrugged.
"Jake has said some pretty mean things about Choi."
"I feel like all he cares about is his popularity status", Yoongi put in.Maybe they were right. Maybe Choi was scared to stop being friends with Jake.
Did he have something against him? was he hiding something from Jake.
"Choi has never really been mean towards me. It was more than when Jake said stuff. He went quiet or pretended to be doing something" The brunette quickly sighed after his sentence, standing up.
"I will go make her bottle. I will be back."They all watched as he left the room. Jungkook turned to look at Jimin and Yoongi, whose attention was now on Ara.
"She is so cute", Jimin whispered, finger wrapped in Ara's palm. Jungkook smiled proudly at the two of them who were gushing over her.
"How has this all been making you feel?" Yoongi questioned, watching as Jungkook hurried back towards the bed's headboard.Leaning against it as he let out a sigh.
"I'm not mad at Taehyung, just worried, I guess. He adores her and wants to do everything for her, but he is draining himself out. I told him that I am always going to be here and that I am not going anywhere."
"We will be here for him as well. It irritates me that Jake treats people like garbage but to popular people who are so nice."
"That my friend is called a kiss ass."
"Ever since he was accepted onto the basketball team, his ego just skyrocketed" They were not wrong. The day Jake got accepted into the basketball team, it was like his whole life changed. He always wore his basketball jersey, becoming overly confident with women.
He seemed to be on a hustle to find a partner since many people on that team were dating someone. Jake was not bad at basketball, he was a good team player, but Jungkook noticed something when watching him in training.
He always handed the ball to the popular people in the team. He seemed to be obsessed with something about him and popular people. The raven loved to observe, especially when it came to basketball.
He knew Jake was not a massive fan of him. But when they bumped into each other in the hallway, Jake would act as if they were good friends only because they had a mutual friend.
"I have her bottle", Taehyung whispered as he walked into the room, testing the bottle on his arm to ensure it was the right temperature. He gave the bottle to Jimin, letting him feed Ara, who seemed happy to have her bottle.
Taehyung smiled as he laid against the bed, watching Jungkook, Yoongi and Jimin all chat while the pink-haired male fed Ara. He did not realise how sleepy he felt until his eyes started to feel heavy.
Jungkook laughed at Yoongi's joke before his head slowly turned towards Taehyung, lying against the bed facing them. His eyes were closed as tiny breaths hit his leg.
The raven smiled, grabbed the blanket that was at the end of the bed and draped it over him. "He did not get much sleep last night. He naps on and off during the day," He whispered, looking back at Jimin and Yoongi.
