For at least 15 minutes, Jungkook sat there with the crying Taehyung in his arms, rocking them side to side as he slowly calmed down. Once Jungkook only heard sniffles, he asked the male if he wanted to skip classes for the day, and when he nodded in reply, they both stood up.
The drive back to Jungkook's house was quiet. The basketball player wanted to know why the male was so upset. He had never seen Taehyung cry like that before. The last time he saw the male cry was in the first year of high school.
When the male's parents did not show up to parent-teacher interviews. Taehyung felt his body grow weak after every step he took as soon as he saw Jungkook's bed and collapsed against it. Sometimes crying drains everything out of you.
All Jungkook wanted to do was text every person and ask 'who hurt him, what did he do to deserve this. "I will be back. Get into some warm clothes," The taller male said softly before walking out of the room and into the kitchen.
He grabbed some water and food and walked back upstairs to see Taehyung sitting on the bed. Head was looking towards the ground as his feet swayed back and forward. He placed the food and water on the desk and walked towards him when he saw a tear fall from the male's eye to his pants.
Jungkook stood in front of him, finger under his chin as he titled it up. He crouched down and wiped the tear rolling down the tanned male's soft cheek. "What happened, Tae?" whispered Jungkook, feeling concerned.
"S-she broke up with m-me", Taehyung stuttered, rubbing his fingers as he looked away. Jungkook gulped, trying to hide his surprised expression. He felt that Eun had something to do with him being hurt, but he never expected this.
"What?! why?" Jungkook asked, surprised, feeling shocked. Taking a seat next to Taehyung, who sniffed, wiping his tears. "She said I was needy, and I never gave her attention, never wanted to spend time with her."
"She said I was embarrassing", Taehyung chuckled, wiping his tears as he shook his head.
"Tae, I don't want you to ever believe her words. Just cause you wanted love and attention does not mean you are needy or an embarrassment."
"I know this is not the right time to bring it up, but she was the worst girlfriend. You were always putting in the effort, and then she complained about how you did not send her a 'good morning' text."
"Remember that? that day you were in hospital cause you fainted. She only cared about a good morning text," Jungkook commented, brushing Taehyung's hair out of his face when the male hummed.
"I'm just over it all, Ggukie, so tired and drained."
"I remembered when I asked her if she wanted to come over to mine, she said she did not want to cause I can't pick her up. I constantly always felt belittled by her," Taehyung said, feeling angry.
"You're allowed to feel angry, upset, gutted or even pissed off. She does not deserve you. You deserve so much better," Jungkook replied. "Do you want to take a nap?" he whispered, hand placed on the male's lower back as he rubbed small circles.
Once Taehyung nodded, Jungkook pushed the bed covers back- letting the smaller male slide underneath them. He slid beside him after shutting all the curtains and door.
He dragged the covers over them and let out a small chuckle when Taehyung draped his leg over his waist and placed his head on his chest.
"Comfy?"
"Very", Taehyung whispered in response and soon fell asleep, clung to Jungkook as if the world was ending.
"You deserve all the love in the world, Tae" Jungkook whispered, pecking the male's hair as he let the male sleep his pain away.
