Progress! That was definitely on display as the group of four: Shaun, Dean, Royce and Fabien walked around the building with their clip boards and papers, checking on the workers from Fabiens' office. NB Auditors wasn't as bustling as usual due to the slowing down of business so the team had more time to focus on the joint project. Two out of five sections were completed and the third was beginning to look good as they set up the skeleton structures that were going to be covered with the fliers they had agreed on. Having a satisfied walk through, they agreed to go to the canteen. It was only used for special occasions or staff that worked late in to the evening so the space was usually empty. The four of them walked in, Dean and Royce chatting up a storm while Fabien lingered behind with Shaun, a few non-conversational comments passing between them but the intentional brief brushes of the hands and jokes making them comfortable with the lack of topics.

Royce and Dean were too absorbed and resorted to grabbing cold drinks from the fridge, pausing briefly to toss a question or two to Shaun and Fabien before returning back to their chat. It was after some minutes that they stopped and offered to order take out for them to indulge in before closing with a brief meeting. Shaun and Fabien gave their orders and opted to stay behind, not keeping up with the energy that both their partners radiated. They agreed and escorted each other out, leaving the two alone.

"Coffee?"

"Tea," Fabien answered as stood near the counter in the kitchen.

Shaun nodded and grabbed the kettle, moving to the sink to fill it with water. The kitchen was separate from the canteen sitting space, the room being parted by a sliding door with frosted glass. Fabien watched Shaun move and had caught himself doing that throughout the time they had been with the pair of coworkers. Shaun seemed to look extra good with his black tie against the short sleeved white shirt and black pants. He had slicked back his hair today, a little fancy touch from his normal hair style and that got Fabien's attention. Shaun reached for some cups and got out the coffee and tea, moving without a word to Fabien.

"Was there some special event that you had to dress up for today?"

"Awww Bibi, you are the event that I dress up for," cue Shauns' debonair smirk and Fabiens' soft pink tinged blush as Shaun continued. "I might as well make your trip worthwhile."

Fabien chuckled weakly, shaking his head a little before looking down briefly. He folded his arms, leaning back so his butt rested against the counter as he looked at Shaun.

"Lucky me to be mixing work and pleasure."

Shaun was impressed with the come back and he nodded, walking to the fridge beside Fabien and opening it to look for the milk. Once the milk was in hand and the fridge door closed, he turned to face Fabien.

"You've learned some things over time huh? You'd usually stop at the blush."

Fabien chortled and pushed off the counter, taking two steps to Shaun before placing his hand over Shauns' hand that held the milk and under the milk bottle so it wouldn't fall. He lifted his head up, locking their eyes and unexpectedly aligning their lips. This pose had clearly perked some unintentional interest and the distance was misjudged by Fabien, thus having them close enough to kiss. Shaun's eyes lowered to focus on Fabien's lips.

"I.... I wasn't waiting around for you. Let me help," Fabien whispered as he pulled the milk out of Shauns' hold and moved to the cups. Shaun turned his focus to his empty hand and lowered it, while a knot formed in his stomach at the near miss of a kiss. Well, he wanted to kiss. He wasn't entirely sure what Fabien was doing. He brandished the smirk once more and turned his attention to the kettle that sat ready for pouring. Fabien returned the milk and closed the fridge.
