"It's so loud" Alexa groaned, as she rubbed her temple with her finger, she wasn't one to walk into a party, not when it had all of her obvious triggers to set her off into a spiral of self hate, but here she was, none the less with some of the Chelsea team.

"Oh my god, is that little Lexa?" Alex Chilwell beamed, as she enveloped Alexa in her arms, the over powering perfume making Alexa feel sick, or maybe it was the mixed smell in the room of everyone's personal fragrance shop as well as the alcohol, and the pounding music didn't help either.

"In the flesh" Alexa chuckled, as she hugged Alex, holding her close for a moment, but her mind cascaded back to the times where this was a daily thing for her.

Alex; Ben's sister could always lead Alexa astray, they had been so close back in the day, back when Ben had made whatever feelings he had at the time clear to Alexa and Alex had been their number one fan, much to Masons dismay. But something about how Alexa stood there, in the overly crowded room, surrounded by something that she considered a weakness, she couldn't help but feel stronger, she was getting better, and she would get past this, no matter how hard it was inside her mind.

"So, do I bother asking about Jacky?" Alex chuckled, as she pulled Alexa to the seat that were surrounded by fairy lights outside, sighing in content as the world inside the room began to fade away, and normality come back into play as they sat in the quieter area.

"I don't think there's much to say" Alexa breathed, as she sat down in one of the worn chairs, and looked over at Alex who smiled at her softly. "Do you think his the one is the question?" Alex smiled, as Alexa sighed running a hand through her hair as she looked at the female she would spill her dark secrets to, and pulled her lip between her teeth.

"People will argue that it was early days, that it was always destined to fail when you date someone in the public eye, but he felt like home Al" Alexa mumbled, as she was handed a drink from someone walking past, Alexa holding it in her hand, watching as her own fingers moved their way around the glass, before she shook her head and placed it on the table opposite them.

"I think, if you feel like his home, no wrong can do wrong, maybe you just need to talk to him" Alex murmured, as she took a swig from the bottle of Harrogate water she had already had in her hand, as Alexa nodded her head. "Maybe I do need to talk to him" Alexa whispered, as the pounding of the music from inside the building came back to play, indicating some more people had come to escape the crowded room, and the significant smell of a night out mixed with alcohol.

"Well, there's no time like the present" Alex chuckled, as she stepped back and nodded her head, Alexa looking at her confused before she smelt the familiar aftershave engulf her, making her feel safe and nauseous all at the same time.

"Lex?" Jacks voice breathed from behind her, as she finally turned around and saw the tired brown eyes that she was dreading to see again, but felt relaxed as her own eyes landed on them.

He looked tired, and he didn't look himself, but underneath the white t-shirt that cling to his body, and the ripped blue jeans that hung on his hips, she knew it was the Jack she knew standing there.

"What are you doing here?" Alexa breathed back to him, her voice quiet, but above a whisper, almost as if she was dreaming this, but she knew she wasn't, she knew he was here, and she knew he was here because she had text him and then ghosted him.

"I needed to know ya was okay" Jack stated, as he stepped forward, but stopped himself moving any closer, he knew he had hurt her, and he knew turning up out of the blue was most likely the wrong way to handle things, but he needed to know she was okay.

"You didn't need to come" Alexa stated, as she ran a hand through her hair, silently wishing she had never come to begin with. "I'll let you to it" Alex smiled softly, as she held a hand to Alexa's shoulder and giving it a slight squeeze before she walked off into the heat of the party once again.

"I came because I needed to know ya was okay, I needed to know that ya was alright" Jack mumbled, despite him residing in Manchester, he hadn't lost the Birmingham accent at all, it still dripped from every word he said.

"Well I'm okay, you can go now" Alexa stated, as she began to walk back to wherever Alex had gone, the want to consume the liquor from inside building in her body, until Jacks arm caught hers as she past him, his eyes looking deep into hers, almost as if he was pleading silently that she would give him a moment more of her time.

"Can I just have one dance?" Jack whispered, a small smile playing on his lips, as the familiar song in the background sang its way into Alexa's ears, her mind casting back to a time when she was the happiest she had been in a long while.

What if I'm someone you won't talk about, I'm falling again, I'm falling again, I'm falling..

Jacks hands wormed their way around Alexa's waist, as she stood still for a moment, trying to steady her breathing as he pulled her close, holding her closer to him, as she lay a single hand on his chest, feeling his own heart beating just as fast as she knew hers was.

"I can't take back what I did, or how shit I made ya feel Lexa, but I still want ya, I still need ya, and I promise ya right now, hand on heart that I ain't letting ya walk away from me" Jack muttered, as he pressed his lips to the top of her head, and Alexa knew, this was never going to end, and how she felt about Jack was never going to change.

And I get the feeling that you'll never need me again..
