Alexa had been tucked away in the safety of St George's for a good week before the boys were heading in to move in for the month. Alexa had the privilege of ensuring that all the interviews, meetings and photo shoots had been set up and planned and she couldn't say she hadn't missed it.Alexa however did miss the hustle and bustle of her small bakery a few miles down the road, but she knew she also had a talent here within the safety of St George's Park, and the question played around in her head of where she was needed more, or where she needed to be more.
"Are you ready to go for lunch?" Aimee called from the doorway as Alexa smiled from ear to ear. Aimee was a positive to her time here, Aimee was Gareth's youngest daughter and she had also been the friend she needed, even if at the time of her arrival she didn't know she needed one.
"Yeah, let's go" Alexa smiled, as she grabbed her phone and her lanyard, before doing a once over in the floor mirror of her blazer and linking her arm with Aimee, smiling at her.
"You seem a lot happier today, is that because someone's coming?" Aimee teased, she knew parts of her relationship with Jack, but she also knew that they had decided to end things for now. Alexa knew her heart still belonged to Jack, even if she didn't want it to, and even more now than ever, she knew she needed him.
"It's not, I think everything just slotted back into place when I come back here, it's one of the places I remember being happiest" Alexa smiled, as Aimee nodded her head.
"I just hope it means they'll still be breakfast in a morning if we have twenty six males during feeding time" Aimee chuckled. "Oh you'd be surprised, they don't eat that much, not in a morning anyway" Alexa chuckled.
"It smells amazing" Aimee smiled, as they entered the canteen, and the food that had been prepared for the boys arrival was wafting through the room in various smells, and the rumble in Alexa's stomach proved that she hadn't eaten yet today, but then the smell of bacon hit her nostrils and the need to heaven and throw up her stomach lining met her with a dominant force.
"You've gone really pale" Aimee stated, as she grabbed a hold of Alexa's arm, almost to steady her rather than scare her. "I think I'm going to be sick" Alexa muttered, as she turned on her heels and grabbed an ice bucket ready for the numerous bottles of water to fill it.
"Are you okay? You're acting almost as if the smell of food is making you want to throw up" Aimee chuckled, as she held on to Alexa's shoulder and rubbed it in a soothing way, before Alexa smiled slightly and then threw the remains of her stomach into the bucket.
"Or pregnant" Aimee chuckled, as Alexa looked up at her, wiping her mouth with a napkin from the table. "Oh god you are, aren't you?" Aimee smiled, as Alexa nodded her head slightly, she has wanted to keep it under wraps, just get through this month and then she could go back to her quiet life in the bakery, but the secret was out now, one person knew, and it wouldn't be long until someone else did.
"Lexaaaa" Masons voice rang out, as he dropped the back pack on the ground and ran over to his sister, smiling wide before he stopped in front of her. "Have you just threw up?" He chuckled, before embracing her in a hug, carefully, which wasn't something he usually did.
"So, was you going to wait for me to arrive to tell me or was it 'you'll get an uncle card in the post' kind of thing?" Mason smirked, as Alexa groaned loud and placed the bucket on the ground, rubbing her temples with her fingertips to try to prevent the headache that she knew she was inevitably going to get.
"Can you please keep it down" Alexa muttered, as she grabbed the ice bucket, and watched from the corner of her eyes as some of the officials grabbed Masons bag from the doorway and place it where it belonged.
"Lex, we need to talk about this, as glad as I am that you're here, should you be?" Mason questioned as he followed her down the hallway, some of the others arriving and saying hello on their way past, the main destination on arrival was the drug testing lab and then for some food.
"There's nothing to talk about" Alexa huffed, as she finally stopped, next to the poster that had Masons face on it, ironic that she was now being stared at by two sets of his eyes.
"Lex, we need to talk about this, you're not alone" Mason stated, as he held a hand to her arm, trying to pull her in for a hug, but she didn't budge, she didn't even flinch, she just stood there looking at her brothers concerned eyes.
"I didn't say I was alone, and I'm more than capable of carrying a baby Mase" Alexa stated, as she let her eyes fall on the poster of her brother, the smile radiating from his face.
"I've always been second best, in some cases I've been fourth or fifth, do you think I can't do this?" Alexa questioned, as she watched the smile fall from her brothers face.
"I didn't say that Lex, maybe this is the hormones talking" Mason chuckled, but he soon stopped when he saw her face, and realised that this wasn't a joking matter.
"Mase, I'm pregnant, and it's my choice to keep this baby, it's my life and I'll do what the hell I want with it" Alexa huffed, as she heard the bang behind her, and she prepared herself the worst, praying silently that it was the door banging in the canteen, but she knew she wouldn't be that lucky.
"Ya pregnant?" His voice questioned, and Alexa felt her knees buckle, and the want to throw up again, nothing could of prepared her for telling him, but this was never how she planned it.
But as she turned around, and her eyes were met with the brown orbs, she knew she would fall for him again and again.
"Ya pregnant Lex?" Jack questioned again, and all Alexa could do was nod her head silently.
