Look After You - Sequel - Jack Grealish

Fourty Four.

"So you all know where your rooms are, as always, please keep in mind you're here representing your country" Gareth addressed the team in the boardroom, none of them really playing much attention, all of them jet lagged and wanting nothing more than to crawl into bed, or get some food first, that was until the blue eyed male walked through the door.

"Ah, Benjamin, it's so nice of you to come" Gareth smiled, as he embraced Ben in a hug, and exchanged their 'hellos' but that didn't mean Alexa didn't notice Jacks face harden and his stance change when he walked into the room.

"Your luggage will be in your rooms and you have your key cards, we will head for training on first light, it'll be a light session but it's to get used to the heat" Gareth stated, as he nodded his head and then walked out of the room, deep in conversation with the head trainers.

"Right, well it's been a pleasure being around you smelly lot, but I'm going to bed" Alexa chuckled, as she hugged into Masons side and said goodnight, before she left the boardroom and walked to the keycard that she had been given.

But as soon as she walked in, she knew she was in the wrong room. Alexa's suitcase was no where to be seen, and the mens toiletries that were overly familiar on the side was something she knew didn't belong to her.

As Alexa walked back to the door, examining her key card again, knowing she had walked into the room that the key card said, she stopped when she saw a pink bag on the side of the dresser, but what caught her eye was the pregnancy leaflet next to it.

Alexa walked over to the dresser and let her fingers glide over the leaflet, her curiosity getting the better of her and opening it up and allowing her eyes to scan over the words.
Until the door opened behind her, stopping her in her tracks.

"Oh, I thought this was my room" Jack chuckled, as he stood at the door way, she knew the aftershave he loved to wear was on the side next to the pink bag, and she knew the leaflet would belong to him to, she didn't know of anyone else in the team who was expecting, and part of her wondered if that's why she had lingered in the room instead of leaving in the first place.

"Yeah, it's yours but my keycard said the same room, it's fine" Alexa smiled, as she turned around to face him, seeing the small smile on his face as he realised what she was looking at.

"Oh, I got that for ya" Jack smiled, as he pointed to where she was standing, but as Alexa raised her eyebrow, Jack shook his head.

"I don't mean the leaflet I meant the bag, a few of the lads said it was stuff ya kept asking for or things I'd seen ya looking at" Jack stated, as Alexa turned around and grabbed the bag, peering inside it.

But she felt her heart stop slightly, for a good reason for once, it was all the small snacks she had been craving, as well as some nice bath items. "I know ya try and act like this isn't a big deal and that ya fine with it all but I see ya Lex" Jack stated, as Alexa nodded her head; her fingers lingering on the bag.

"Thank you" Alexa smiled, as Jack nodded his head, watching as she picked the bag and held it in her hands.

"Can I have a hug? I just miss ya Lex" Jack murmured as Alexa nodded her head, and began to walk over to Jack, holding her arms around his neck as his hands rested on her hips, holding her closer, he needed this, he needed her.

"You know we can't get used to this Jack, you broke my heart, you let me think the worst of you and it wasn't even true" Alexa breathed into Jacks chest, as he held a little tighter, wanting to savour this feeling.

"I'll always care about ya Lex, always" Jack muttered, as he pressed his lips to the top of her head, just wishing things had been different, and that he had been honest, because now he was missing out on his first pregnancy, he was missing out on lying next to her most nights, he missed the little things.

"I need to go" Alexa whispered, as she pulled herself from Jacks chest, and he nodded his head, he knew he had messed up, but he planned on making things right, no matter how long it took him, he wanted this and he wanted her.

"If ya need me text me or call me yeah? I'm just down the hall" Jack smiled, as Alexa nodded her head, giving him a warm smile back. "Okay" Alexa smiled, as she walked out of his room, closing the door behind her and letting out a breath she didn't know she was holding in. 

"There you are! Jaz is on the phone with Summer" Mason stated, as he poked his head out the door down the hallway, Alexa smiling and nodding her head. "I can't find my room" Alexa chuckled, as she walked to Mason and into his room, all the rooms looked the same apart from the numbers on the doors obviously.

"How can you not find your room" Mason laughed, as he closed the door behind them, and Alexa heard Summer laughing from his IPad, and she smiled, one day this would be her.

"Hey Summer" Alexa smiled, as she sat down on the bed in front of the IPad and Summers smile grew wider. Summer began to laugh and clap her hands, and Jaz smiled at them both in the background.

"I just text Dec your room is next to him" Mason stated, as Alexa nodded her head. "I'll text him back to go and get you a key card" Mason continued, but Alexa felt the tiredness overwhelm her, and she swore she only closed her eyes for a brief moment.

But when she reopened her eyes, her suitcase was opposite her and she was in her own room.
