Main Characters:
Jay (James Taylor)
Jay is a boy, and he is 12 years old as of the time of this book.
He has freckles, brown hair, greenish eyes and is medium height.
He is kind, optimistic, but very weak and cowardly. (And clumsy, don't forget.)
He is acquainted with the main character, Alfred and the sub-character Joe.
Dave (David Brown)
Dave is also a boy, and he is 11 years old at the time of this book. He has short light brown hair, but some of it seems to like getting in the way of his eyes, so he regularly has to flick it back. Speaking of his eyes, he has bright blue eyes (in this book but not in real life), and he is very tall. (You could mistake him for a giraffe, not really.)
He is kind, energetic, but sensitive and quite a scaredy-cat, being afraid of the dark and large crowds.
He is acquainted with the main character Matilda and the sub-character Jessica.
Matilda
Matilda is a girl, and she is 11 years old at the time of this book. (This is just starting to get repetitive now.)
She has long chestnut coloured hair, greenish, blueish, greyish eyes, (I mean, that's how she described it herself), and is about as tall as Dave.
She is calm and resourceful and caring at times, but sometimes can be quite harsh, mainly to the other main character she is acquainted with, Dave. She is also acquainted with the sub-character Jessica.
Alfred
Alfred is a boy, and he is 11 years old at the time of this book. (Ok this is too repetitive now.)
He has short brown hair, dark brown eyes and is about as tall as Jay.
Alfred is somewhat pessimistic and lazy, but he is a loyal and faithful friend who doesn't overreact in tough situations.
