I head downstairs leaving my hair how it is and make Charlie and I breakfast. I see Bella come down and give her my scraps knowing it's all she's going to eat. Charlie says "I think your should see someone" what the fuck?
I tell him "I'm fine Charlie" and he follows me "no you're not. You're not mourning properly and it's scary" I tell him "I'm fine Charlie" he sighs "no you're not kid. You act as if it didn't even happen. And I'm sorry but it did" "I'm not going to therapy Charlie. I'm alright" I insist. He tells me "you haven't shed a tear. You found them. You aren't mourning...you're just...going through the motions" I tell him "my parents were murdered. I cleaned the house, no one else. I'm sorry that the way im going through this isn't to your standards but im fine! If I start crying im afraid I'll never stop. And it's not what they'd want so im not. Im not going to therapy Charlie" getting in my car annoyed and I drive to the school.
I get out the car and ignore the stares and head to my locker. Mike says "I was wondering if you were single?" "Im wondering why you think I'd be interested Mike." I sigh and he says "so you and that hale and cullen. Didn't know you went for two people" I reply "and yet neither of them are you Mike. Must really hurt that fragile ego to know Jessica is the only one who'd ever want you...get lost" he huffs "such a bitch" a pair of voices says "what'd you just say?" It's emmett and jasper. "Nothing" he says fear in his voice walking away and emmett says "that's what I thought"
Jasper says "morning Darlin" I mutter grabbing what I need "hi" and suddenly I feel happy and relaxed. Weird. I send them a smile "hi" they smile "hi" emmett asks "are you okay?" I nod "yeah just got told I need to mourn better" with a sigh.
"Mourning happens differently for everyone princess...don't let anyone tell you how to process your dads passing" emmett says. Jasper nods with him "it's more than that as well?" I nod but don't elaborate on it. Jasper says "we were wondering if you'd let us save you from Jessica's presence at lunch" I beg "please do I'm gonna bash my skull in if I have to listen to her voice again" he chuckles "there's no need for that Darlin promise"
I ask "you sure. I mean...hearing the gossip you never bring new people around" emmett says "well...we can't resist you gorgeous. We like you and so will our siblings" blush lines my cheeks and the bell rings and I ask "do you by chance have English right now?" They nod "both of us do" they reply. I smile "let's go"
