Phoenix's pov We've been driving to denali for a bit. I'm curled onto jaspers lap as emmett drives and I hold his hand and it takes a bit longer of us goofing off and around to get there. I get out the car and hold their hands. The other coven come out. Three blonde pretty women, and two brunettes, one male and another female. The brunette male says "I'm aleazar you must be Phoenix Kyle" I nod and he says "this is my mate Carmen and Tanya, irina and Kate" I nod Kate shakes my hand and I feel a current but it doesn't hurt.
I ask "are you trying to hurt me?" She furrows her eyebrows "I'm using my full power and yet nothing" eleazar gasps "impossible" emmett asks "what?" Eleazar comes and takes me in "I've never seen a power like hers" Jasper "mind telling us what they are?" "Well she's a copy cat... but she can control fire, and burn you from the inside out. And control energies and use it as a shield as well. There is no cap on what you're able to do...the powers you take will add to what you already have" I nod and Tanya says "I can show you how to use the gift"
I nod "sure" Kate and I talk and she teaches me and I note Tanya and irina rubbing on my mates who look uncomfortable. They even told them who I am. I feel my body heat up and speed over to the blondes and electrocute them with my touch and I snap "I think my mates said hands off." As they're on their knees "if you haven't noticed I'm quite territorial I've what is mine. Look at them sideways again and I won't hesitate to feed your own body parts to you"
"Are we clear" I snap and they choke and I let them go. Tanya tries to attack but I make her burn.

She grabs at her head and cries "not so tough are you?" And I let her go. The cracks in her skin disappearing leaving scars like what jasper has. My men hug me and I feel fatigued and eleazar says "she gets tired?" "Only when she uses the power this much" jasper says and eleazar says "interesting. I think she just needs to build up to using it all and her body will adjust" and Emmett catches me as I finally collapse.
Emmetts pov "Thank you for your help we had no idea what was going on with her" jasper says and he shakes our hand "no problem" he says "the volturi is going to want her really bad" we nod "we know" and I add "but we won't let them have her" and I sit with her in my lap as jasper drives us to the airport to go to Germany like she wanted first.
