Phoenix's pov I wake being shaken. I groan "what?" Blinking realizing it's Bella. She says "I found out what's so weird about the cullens...no offense. My god did they do that to you?" Looking at my neck and I chuckle "they're hickies Bella. I'm fine. They didn't do anything I didn't ask for" noticing that I'm wearing jaspers shirt. He threw out the scraps of the dress. "They're vampires" she says and I laugh. It's not my place to tell her.
So I'll keep their secret. Not that I was going to tell anyway. "Bella this is what you woke me up for? Really? I think I'd know if my boyfriends who I spend every day with, are vampires" I chuckle. She starts reading part of the book and says "see? I'm not wrong!" I put my hands on her shoulders "Bella. I think you're obsessing and tired. The cullens aren't vampires. They're allergic to the sun. Jasper and emmett showed me. They break out in blisters so that's why they don't come to school and they often hike in the shadows, the forest is dense. Their allergy makes them have to stick to a diet so that's why they don't eat at school."
She asks "and that thing at school? Edward wasn't anywhere near us and emmett and Jasper as well. And you! You moved that car without even touching it!"
"Bella you hit your head they were with us the whole time! And me? I did nothing but step in front of you to protect you. Tyler's car got the dent from yours" I tell her and she shakes her head "I know what I saw" "head injuries also make people see things" I hate having to do this but I made a promise to my boys that I wouldn't tell a soul and I'm keeping it. I'd never break theirs or anyones trust like that.
She nods "sure" and leaves. Wow. The boys come back in the window and smile my way. "Thank you" they say gently coming over and making themselves comfortable. I say "I promised. And I'm keeping it. But I get the feeling she's going to confront Edward" they nod and jasper says "and that's his thing to deal with not ours" pulling me closer. I curl into him wanting to be closer than ever. He kisses my head "sleep Darlin still got a bit of time until you gotta wake up" I nod into his chest pulling emmett closer feeling perfectly chilled while they probably feel warmer than ever.
Emmett's pov I smile seeing the pair. She pulls me in as well and I wrap an arm around her my chest against her back. I ask "how do you feel now jasper" he smiles at her who curls closer to him "Better than I ever have" I nod "she's perfect isn't she?" He nods kissing her head as she whines in her sleep "she always was" I nod in agreement and I can feel her sadness, her fear, and she starts to cry in her sleep. He tries to use his gift to calm her but it doesn't seem to work. I resort to trying to wake her. She shots up and tears prick at her eyes and fall. She shakes her head and wipes them and takes a breath and just...stops. "What's wrong princess?" I ask and we each take a hand of hers. She sighs "had a nightmare about my parents and finding them. Im okay" we're not convinced she's just trying to convince herself that she's okay. But she's not. I say "it's okay to not be okay you know?" She shakes her head "I'm not breaking until I find who did this to them" stubborn. Jasper speaks "you really shouldn't keep your emotions in like this Darlin you can talk to us...cry and mourn with us" she stands "I'm okay" and grabs clothes and comes back in

She smiles "cmon" we speed out to the jeep and drive the little bit to her place and I say "I'm worried about her" he sighs "me too"
Phoenix's pov I make breakfast for Charlie, Bella and I and the bell rings and I get up and open the door and hop into Emmett's arms and he chuckles and kisses me softly "missed you too princess" he carries me through to the kitchen with jasper following.
Charlie smiles at us "hey boys!" Emmett tries to put me down but I refuse making him chuckle "hey Charlie" Jasper greets "hi charlie" emmett sits with me on his lap so I can finish my food and coffee. Emmett nods to Bella "hey" Bella looks a bit surprised they're talking to her and she smiles "hi" "I'm emmett" and jasper says "jasper" "I'm Bella" she replies almost tense. She asks "so uh...you're allergic to the sun?" They nod going with my lie "it's not as uncommon as people believe. All of us have this allergy some not as bad as the others but it's still wise to stay inside at home or in the shadows on the rare sunny day" jasper says. Charlie says "you're welcome to take off of school and look after them if you wish Nix" I nod and smile. I finish my food and coffee and kiss Charlie's cheek "be careful at work and make sure you eat something!"
Grabbing their hand and emmett asks "can I drive your car?" I hand him the keys "that car is my baby so don't hurt it" he pecks my lips "scouts honor. Getting in. I sit in the middle between the boys as emmett starts the engine giddy and pulls out and races off. He pulls into a parking spot and we get out the car and he hands me the keys and says "your car is awesome!" I chuckle "thanks. Holding their hands and we meet with the rest of the cullens. Rosalie and Alice hugging me. I warn Edward "Bella may approach you about what you are. She read some books and knows but I tried to deter her but she's stubborn"
he nods "I'll just tell her the truth" fun! I nod and rosalie is the only one who has an issue. "Rose she's my best friend. She won't tell anyone just like I won't" "I'm not worried about that I'm worried about the volturi" "and you're not worried about that with me?" I question. She shakes her head "alice has seen that you're going to turn. She's not too sure with her" I nod seeing her worry.
"Everything's going to be okay rose." I say to her. She chuckles "they're the oldest vampires. Our royalty. And dangerous" I shrug "they sound like a bunch of bitches to me" and they laugh. We head to my locker and I take what I need seeing Edward waiting for me no doubt. We have class together....this just ruined my morning. I kiss the boys goodbye counting down the minutes until we have english together. I walk with Edward and he asks "what's it going to take for you to like me? I already apologized to Bella"
I roll my eyes "she accepted your apology because she likes you. I on the other hand don't so I'm not accepting shit" he sighs "you're important to her. So getting you to like me is important" "not gonna happen hedgehog" I reply sitting. He sighs "I couldn't handle her scent." "Doesn't mean you should've been a dick" I reply. "Can we call a truce? For her?" "You don't deserve her. So no" I reply. "You don't know me" he points out. I reply "you could've handled it any other way but you didn't you chose to be an asshole and hurt her. That showed me exactly what I need to know about you. When shit gets difficult you're going to leave or be an asshole. Either way, you're going to hurt her" continuing my work. When the bell rings I get up and leave him. I meet the boys at the locker and kiss them gently switching my books.
Jasper says "you know he won't stop trying" "good for him. I'm not changing how I feel about him" I reply and see Bella and she smiles my way. I do the same and the day goes on. We're out by the cars when she approaches Edward and he follows her into the woods. Fun.
