Emmett's pov I hunt and run in the woods following her to the store. She's not okay. Though I never expected her to be whenever she found who murdered her family. I never felt her that hot before. She was literally red skinned and about to burst into flames in any second it seems. Victoria goaded her on purpose to see her rage and try something. We saw it in her eyes. She wanted to jump at the opportunity to hurt Phoenix.
She was looking at Phoenix like she wanted to finish what she started. We get what we need and I stop her "princess I love you and so does jasper. We just want the best for you. We want you to tell us how you feel even if we already know. We just...want you to open up" she cracks a small smile "I love you bear. I just have to process that I saw them and focus on Bella being safe" I tell her "I want you here with us. Jasper and I will take turns watching over you and Charlie." "Emmett Bella needs me" she sighs. I cup her face "and we need you safe. You're safest with us. Please phee...stay" she gives in "okay" I nod "drive back I'll be with you" she nods and we kiss shortly and I speed in the forest with her as she drives. I feed from a squirrel and my eyes widen smelling victoria. No!
I feel my chest shatter hearing a car crash. Anger flows through me. I speed over and see her car over turned and a wreck a small fire starting. "Phoenix?!" I ask hitting the fire out not smelling fuel thankfully but I do smell her blood. No sign of Victoria. I see her arm hanging out the window. No. I see it kneeling beside her. She was bitten. Venom comes at my eyes and for once I just want to be able to cry. I drag her out the car and she's bloody. I sniffle "baby baby please!" Carlisle. He has to help her. I pick her up and speed home and shout "CARLISLE!" He speeds over and gasps at the side of her and jasper comes as well and crumbles just like I did. We lay her down and I say "take the venom out carlisle! What are you waiting for?!" Carlisle shakes his head "it's too far into her system we suck it and she'll die anyway" no. No. This is all my fault I should've been in that car with her and protected her! I should've forgotten about the hunt! Now she's turning against her will. Carlisle clasps my shoulder "I'm sorry son" Bella asks "nix?! Nix!" Tears in her eyes edward holding her as she cries. Her heart stopped and jasper and I choke on a sob me kneeled beside her who's on the couch kissing her hand. I mutter "I'm sorry." Bella calms down after a bit "she's going to turn?" I nod "yeah. She never told us whether she ever wanted this for herself or not. This was supposed to be her choice!" Jasper clasps my shoulder and says "who?" I say "I was following her back and I smelled victoria and then heard a crash. She bit her and left before I can get there"
Bella says "you know...she was never like this with anyone else...she truly does love you two...take care of her while I'm gone and have her call me when she wakes...she's going to need you two." I nod and her and the group leave. Spreading Bella's scent to get the trail going. We sit in silence with her for days. I ask "she's quiet...all of us screamed...why is she still and quiet?" Carlisle replies "she'll wake soon son. You can hear the venom move as we speak" I can her silence is worrying me.
I couldn't protect her when it mattered most. Another few days pass and she's still not awoken. But her hair gets healthier, her wounds heal, her bones that were broken snap into place. Her skin gets pale and cold. Her body that was already amazing tones out to a perfection I never thought possible...she was already perfect. Her scars and blemishes go away as well. Then I see it...her eyes open. She's awake.

She sits up "what happened?" Her voice like honey. I tell her "Victoria made you crash and bit you...you turned" she stand and says "what?" I say "it was too late for the venom to be removed. If we sucked it out you would've died." She nods and says "okay...now I get to be with you two forever" I grin "forever" and jasper says "forever" and she hugs me and I make an "oof" sound from her strength. I say "careful princess you're stronger than us now" she sniffs "wow you two smell amazing. And feel so too" touching our arms.
I smile "it's the mate bond princess...take a look at yourself in the mirror" and she speed over "woah" in shock at the movement and the way she looks. I kiss her cheek "perfect" taking her in. Carlisle says "we have to go to florida Bella needs our help" she says "I'm going" we nod and speed off. We get there and Bella was bitten and James says "oh you're awake." "And stronger than you" she smirks and they fight and she tears into him and I say "start a fire" we're surprised by her flicking her wrist and a fire starts. She really is gifted. Jasper and I hold james arms as she jumps on his shoulders and rips his head off and throws it into the fire and rips him apart and we do the same. She pauses hearing carlisle telling Edward to stop sucking Bella's blood. She speeds over and slams him against the wall "the fuck were you thinking! You could've killed her" she pauses. I ask "what?" She mutters "I can hear all of your thoughts." And coughs "the blood...my throat burns" we nod and get her out and we find a Forrest and tell her what to do and she's off. She catches a cougar. And a deer and squirrels and then she's done and we speed home to hide the fact that we were there.
