Chapter 42: Duelist Kingdom Preliminaries (1)

The next day, Tokio was woken up by someone. Somebody was shaking the sleeping bag which he was on.

" Excuse me?"

Because of the strange dream, Tokio doesn't have a deep sleep and was instantly woken up by the shaking. He removed the eye mask, crawled out of the sleeping bag, and put the red cap on his head.

" We have arrived on the Island, you should prepare yourself Mister Duelist. "

After putting the cap on his head and arranging the messy hair, Tokio glanced at the person who woke him up. Then he blinked. Thinking that it was an illusion.

" Mister Duelist? "

But after the person in front of him spoke again, Tokio confirmed that he wasn't hallucinating. He was just plain unlucky.

Tokio shook his head and went to write something on his writing board.

Tokio realizes now... Disguising as the Vagrant was damn inconvenient. He can't speak and he acts plain creepy and unemotional. It was like a robot or a dead body.

But once he stepped into the island, he would activate his Psychic Duelist skill so he wouldn't suffer from communication problems anymore.

Getting up, Tokio bowed his head to the person who woke him up and place the folded sleeping bag inside his bag, and carried them on his back.

Heading to the exit, Tokio sighed in relief when Bakura Ryou didn't seem to follow him. He has no plan to get involved in his shenanigans.

But since they have already played a shadow game RPG during season 0, Tokio couldn't help but think if it would still happen.

After landing on the island, Tokio followed the other duelist who was heading to the entrance of the castle. A few minutes later, Pegasus showed himself and announce the rules.

While listening to the rules that he already knows, Tokio looks around and thinks that there must be more duel arenas here that exist on this island than shown in the anime.

After the explanation, Tokio then took out a compass from his backpack and decided to head north. Later, Tokio saw a duel arena. He then took out different cooking tools and utensils that he brought from his backpack.

Tokio then looks at the miscellaneous items of the system and bought chairs and tables which only cost 50 points.

A few minutes later, Tokio was cooking his breakfast. Despite being a young master in this life, Tokio knows how to cook. Even though he was usually lazy, there were times when he doesn't want to bother the servants at home or his Aunt Shizuko.

Tokio 'learned' how to cook. But he knows that it was a lie. Tokio has already had this skill in his past life and it was used every day for himself and other people.

When some duelists arrived in the duel arena, they were attracted by the fragrant smell. They were left speechless by Tokio who was eating his breakfast peacefully.

Haruhi and Fumihito who arrived feel their stomachs grumbling when they watched Tokio eat his food and the delicious smell wafting from his breakfast.

Arriving here on the island, they didn't expect Pegasus to don't give them any food. When they arrived, they thought that Pegasus would give them a warm reception, and let them eat breakfast before they start dueling with each other.
