Chapter 22: I have a troublesome friends

In the third week of May, Tokio's days are as peaceful as they can be. Through there was a certain episode where Mayumi-chan got involved with the trouble because of her love confession gift to Jonouichi Katsuya.

Tokio promised that he wouldn't get involved in it. But he also didn't want to get Mayumi-chan angry at him and end up leaving the Leisure Club. Who would end up as their Vice President and fill the vacancy after that? Tokio doesn't want to spend time looking for someone to fill the vacancy if Mayumi leaves.

As a result of that, he was one of the students who signed Anzu's petition on lightening the rules of the school along with Hailey, and Tomoyuki. The duo wanted to support Anzu who decided to stand up for Mayumi.

Eventually, at the end of that episode, Tokio's involvement was very minimal. Mayumi also decided to move on her crush on Joey Wheeler and started developing a crush on a 2nd-year senior student.

Tokio could only sigh in relief when all of that nonsense ended. But a few days later, Tokio was surprised when he didn't see Risa in their classroom. When he arrived at the Leisure Club, he was surprised to find Mayumi, Tomoyuki, and Hailey with somber expressions on their faces.

Hailey gasped and Tokio couldn't feel but feel a headache for the certain tick that Hailey have developed. Recently, she started saying Desuwa at the end of some of her words. He learned that she started being engrossed in a certain TV Show and decided to imitate the Princess Character which was her favorite.

Hailey's behavior was starting to become like her original counterpart on the Duel Links Game.

" But I have seen it two days ago! I also remembered them talking! They must know where is she! And she wouldn't do those things, right?  "

Mayumi replied to Hailey's explanation. Tokio was currently clueless about what was happening in their club. He then glances at Tomoyuki whose shoulder has a very noticeable parrot. Since Tomoyuki started bringing his Parrot Nobu, there was never a day that he stopped bringing his pet to the school.

He ever wondered what even Tomoyuki have done to get permission on bringing his pet.

" So... What was happening? Where is Risa? "

Tokio decided to interrupt the ongoing drama inside his Leisure Club. But he didn't expect their expression to show more sadness. Hailey looks like she would start to cry.

" President... "

Tokio was startled when Hailey started hugging him. After a little while, Hailey let go of him and wiped the stray tears in her eyes.

" What the hell is happening? "

Tomoyuki then stared at Mayumi. The latter then took it as her cue to start explaining the events.

During the previous two days, Mayumi thought that Risa's behavior was strange as she started asking questions about her classmate Muto Yugi. She also heard Yugi's group talking about a love letter and someone girl who wanted to confess her love for Yugi.

She didn't think of it for a while. Until yesterday, she heard Jonouchi and Honda talking about some crazy woman and her sisters and then heard them mention Risa's name.

Even though Anzu has helped her before, she decided to argue with them that they must be wrong with their claims. There is no way that Risa-chan would do this thing. Then, Anzu and Yugi have started explaining a summary of the most gloss things that Kageyama Risa has done to them.

At the end of Mayumi's story, Tokio couldn't help but sigh. No matter even though Kageyama Risa started attending Domino High School, the things that have happened were still the same.

Kageyama Risa still wanted to get the Violet Hecate together with her sisters. She still did most of the things that she have done in the anime.

Faking a confession and acting like a shy and innocent girl so that she can get the Violet Hecate Card. But when it didn't work, she started resorting to violence and called the help of her sisters.

In the end, the Kageyama Sisters are defeated by Kaiba.

" President? "

Tomoyuki called out the attention of Tokio who was deep in thought. The latter then stared at Mayumi. She was waiting for his answer.

" There is no way that she would do those things right? And just for a mere card... "

Mayumi didn't know whether she was asking Tokio or herself. Finally, after some consideration, Tokio decided to speak about some things.

" Mayumi do you think that they would lie about you, Risa? Are they that kind of person? "

Mayumi lowered her head. Even though she cares about Risa who has become one of her closest friends, Mayumi wouldn't think about Anzu as someone who likes to lie about those things.

Even though it was ridiculous, Risa has done those things just for a card. But she couldn't help but feel odd as she started imagining Risa using a whip and having a very bad personality.

" Why would she even do those things just for a card game. I admit that playing Duel Monsters is fun. President, you also love this Duel Monsters so we started playing these games. But I would never think that Risa-chan would take it to extreme lengths. "

While Mayumi was having troubled thoughts, Tokio thought that it wasn't bad to reveal some things to his quirky and troublesome friends.

Even though Kageyama Risa is a troublesome person who didn't reveal her true face and nature to them, she was still a member of his Leisure Club. Tokio doesn't want to replace her with a new member if she decided to stop attending these classes.

No matter what happened, once you have joined the club, you must stay in the club.
