Chapter 50: Duelist Kingdom Finals (1)

      After Kaiba's soul was trapped in a card and his 'corpse' was taken away, Croquet invited everyone to have dinner. In total, counting the 8 finalists and the guests, there are a total of 12 people.

Tokio found himself seated between Joey and Mai. It was better than sitting between his two little cousins or his friends.

Thankfully, it seems that they didn't recognize Tokio. Well, Tokio and Konami's personalities differed from each other.

Tokio is this lazy, carefree pain-in-the-ass guy while Konami is an emotionless and serious psychic.

Tokio didn't immediately start eating like the others on the table casually poking out his soup. If he wasn't wrong, there is something that was supposed to be placed here.

Tokio doesn't want to end up choking on those. After poking around his soup for a few seconds, something bubbling underneath floated up.

It was a millennium eye replica.

" Ahhhhh, What is this?! "

" It's in my soup too! "

Tokio place both of his hands on his ears hoping to attempt to block out Joey and Mai's loud shout.

Croquet then appeared and explained the glory of the king's hand and the glory of the king's opposite hand. Then he explained about the replica millennium eye and the small piece of paper inside them.

Tokio was surprised when he got the letter A. He look around the room and thought that since there are 8 finalists then it should be different from the original. All of the finalists decided to show each of the letters that they got.

A for him, Akai Konami.

Bandit Keith got the letter B.

Joey Wheeler got the letter C

Horo Minoru got the letter D

Mai Valentine got the letter E

Satake Tomoyuki got the letter F

Kageyama Risa got the letter G

Yugi got the letter H

The first duel tomorrow would be between him and Bandit Keith

Followed by Joey Vs Minoru, Mai Vs Tomoyuki, and Risa Vs Yugi.

Tokio then noticed Bandit Keith staring at him.

Hmm... He must have trouble with the Glory of the King's hand right now. Since he was his opponent, would Bandit Keith still attempt to snatch someone's glory from the king's hand?

Taking out his own, Tokio then threw his glory of the king's hand toward Bandit Keith.

Bandit Keith and the others look at him in surprise. Joey was staring at him like he have grown his second head.

" What the hell are you thinking Akai? Why did you throw your Glory of the King's hand to him? "

[ He was missing one, so I provided him. ]

Tokio then glance at Bandit Keith who was staring at him with a complicated expression.

[ Duelist Keith Howards I hope that you would do your best tomorrow to fight as a duelist. ]

After eating dinner, Tokio then returned to his room.

He tried hard to remember what Bandit Keith's card consist of other than being a machine-type monster, barrel dragon, slot machine, and Time machine.

After a few minutes of remembering and strategies to use and counter, Tokio fell asleep on his bed.
