^^^Third Person POV^^^
Asking directions from anybody she saw on her way, she finally reached the governor's office. After the sudden disappearance of Rang, she decided to continue the task of finding the governor, as mentioned by Yeon.
As she walked through the giant wooden door, she noticed two figures standing in the center of the dusty ground. The guy was Lee Yeon, but she was confused regarding the girl in a hanbok beside the fox. As she walked closer to the duo, she noticed the familiar features of the girl. As she stood by the woman, she was stunned to see the person she had been yearning to see since the day at Baekdu.
She felt like standing right beside Aheum in the flesh, The aura, the clothes, the face. All these elements made her believe more and more that she was back. Without realizing it, Iseul hugged Jiah. Her tears started sliding down her cheeks as she buried her face in Jiah's hanbok. "Eonnie...pls don't leave me again *sob* do you know how lonely it was? waiting for you to return home every day, but you never came!" Iseul sobbed into Jiah's hanbok.
The said human was shocked beyond a level she knew existed. She hugged back the sobbing girl in her arms as she looked back at Yeon. The said fox was already staring at the sobbing girl. He had only thought about his pain, the pain of losing someone dear to him.
He never realized what she had to go through. A child who lost the only person she had grown to trust after what happened to her mother. Yeon slowly moved in front of the two females as he petted the sobbing girl's head. "...It's okay..." he said.
She slowly lifted her head off Jiah's shoulder. Muttering a little sorry, she moved back to her place beside Jiah. Wiping her stray tears, she looked ahead and took in a deep breath. Jiah slowly bought a hand behind Iseul's head and placed it on her head. "Listen...I have no idea about your history with Lee Yeon's first love, but I can tell you one thing. I will always be there for you every step of life where. I can be there with you. I will be standing right beside you. You get that?" Jiah asked the sobbing girl. Iseul nodded as a response as she wiped her tears dry.
"Okay, that's enough of crying and sobbing for today! Come out, Governor!" Yeon screamed, breaking the moment between the two girls. As the two slowly settled into their surroundings, they found nobody around the property. Yeon was going to call out to his old friend again, but the sound of a door opening interrupted him.
A man in his near thirties walked through the door situated at the side of the platform. He was wearing the traditional outfit of a governor. His head had an oversized hat resting over it with dangling beads. 'He looks like the governor...' Iseul thought as she looked at the man.
