^^^Third Person POV ^^^
The car was absolutely silent as Rang drove somewhere. "How did you know I will be discharged today from the hospital?" Iseul asked the half fox who focused on the road. "I have my ways." Rang replied without sparing a glace at Iseul. The tension in the car was unbearable to the two, but their pride didn't let them speak.
Iseul had many questions regarding the past few days but was reluctant to ask anything to the half fox. The tension had no limits, the growth of this tension pressing up on Iseul's chest. She was yet to go back to the office as well as the Afterlife Office to update Halmoni. While she was busy picking the skin around her nails, she felt the car stop.
"Why did we stop... yah Lee Rang!" Iseul asked as she saw him getting out of the car. Hurriedly got out of the car and walked towards the scene, which Lee Rang had caused. He had hoisted up a little guy off the ground, trying to interrogate him. It was kind of funny and cute to look at, but at the same time, it was pretty concerning.
"Yah Rang-ah, put the child down..." Iseul calm stated as she walked closer to the pair. "My pair of magical glasses!" the kid exclaimed as he ran further away from the couple. "This is one of the reasons why I hate children." Rang wishpered slowly as he followed the kid. "This is the reason J questioned myself every day...why??" Isuel told herself as she decided to follow them after their little game.
When the duo came to a halt, Iseul slowly walked in their direction to see Rang snatch something from the kid and hoisting him up again. As she got closer, she saw Rang putting the kid down and the kid crying, tears flowing down his cheeks. Iseul quickly ran to the child, bending down to his height. She wiped off his tears and looked at Rang, who was busy cleaning some glasses.
"Hey kid, you okay?" Iseul asked the crying kid. He looked back at the with those small, doe eyes which melted the half fox's heart. His face looked really familiar to someone but stopped questioning when she felt the child nuzzle into her embrace. "Noona, thank you." As he hugged Iseul closer.
Iseul also nuzzled the little kid closer to her. During the duo's hugging session, she heard a small wishper. She looked up to see the look of disbelief on Rang's face. He was looking through a pair of weird glasses, which Iseul recognized to be the Tigers Eyebrows. She looked up the Rang to see his eyes go teary. She got up and walked towards him, but he took off as soon as she got up to call him.
Iseul and the kid followed Rang as he was leaving the park. She heard him wishpering about him being foolish to love something like that again. This bought a number of questions in Iseul's head, but her train of thoughts crashed when she bumped into Rang, who had turned around to stare at the two.
Both of them looked like two lost puppies staring at him with confusion, Rang couldn't handle the stares he was getting, so he dragged the duo to the nearest cafe. He told the two order whatever they wanted and sat down the a table of 4. Sitting over at the table, Iseul started staring at the child to decipher on who exactly is he and why he looked so familiar. As any adult would do, Iseul asked the child, "What's your name, baby?" Rang turned to her with bewilderment flashing in his eyes, "You never talked to me like that?" He asked, slightly pouting. "Are you a child?" Iseul asked with him with a done face. "No, but you can call me baby...that doesn't require me to be a baby..." Rang answered, trying to get on Iseul's nerves. Iseul muttered 'Fuck you' to which Rang muttered 'Gladly'. Iseul ignored him and got back to the child.
