Jessie's POV
I had been watching the television ever since I woke up today. Harry's bed was too comfortable, I never wanted to get up. Why does it have to be midday? All I want is to not be alone in this big house. Well I'm not alone. Harry's dog, Bruce, was here with me, laying beside me in bed. The occasional licks I got from him were enlightening, making me smile everytime. He was an adorable little pup that just wanted my attention.
I would laugh at Bruce's attempts to play with him, until I heard the creak of a door. The dog was now barking nonstop and running out the door. I looked over at the clock, Harry should be here in an hour. My body sent itself behind the door. The pillow from the bed was gripped in my hand. My heart raced as the barking stopped and the door swung open, slamming into me and forcing a groan out of me. The figure neared me but earned the pillow to the face. They fell to the ground, whining. It was a boy, Zayn.
"Oh! Oh, I'm so sorry!" I held my arm out and helped him up, a small smirk on his face.
"It's fine. I should've known better than to sneak up on you." Zayn pulled off his bookbag and set it beside the door along with his shoes. "Harry told me to come check up on you."
"Oh."
"Uh, did you eat?" I shrugged at him before hugging myself, looking out the window and at Harry's school. "You miss him?" Nodding at him, I pressed my hand to the window. "I'll stay with you if you want. Harry told me not to touch you unless you want to be and to be careful around you because you're shy."
"You don't have to follow his orders. I'm not a baby or anything." We both laughed a bit before he grabbed my hand.
"Let's go play some football. I'll teach you." I squealed as he pulled me out the room, downstairs and into the backyard. Zayn rushed over to
the hose, picking up the ball that was coiled by it. "Use the side of your foot to kick, alright?" I nodded as he kicked it to me. My foot instantly caught it, I spun and kicked it hard back to Zayn. "Whoa, fast learner!"
"Guess it's just an instinct." I shrugged. I used to kick at Steven all the time from all angles.
"Hm, can you kick the ball straight up?"
"Like?"
"Like this." He smirked, taking the ball in his hands and throwing it into the air. I watched as he threw his leg into the air and kicked the ball up, high. Zayn was confident at this sport and you could tell by the way he moved. It lit up my mood at his pride.
"I can do that." Catching the ball, I held it close to my chest. "Let's play." I smirked, throwing the ball up into the air.

Zayn's POV
"Good job." I nodded towards Jessie, pulling her body into my arms. She was sweating and her breathing was heavy.
"Thanks, football is fun." She smiled, running over to the side of the house. "How do hoses work?" Jessie picked it up, eyeing at it curiously.
"Haha, pull the latch." I smirked, watching her. She gave me a reassuring smile before pulling, water shooting right onto her face and down her clothing. A laugh burst from my lips.
"Zayn!" She squealed, dropping it.
"I-I'm sorry." I chuckled, picking it up and squirting at the ground, creating mud. "Want to play a game? It's not too chilly out for one."
"I'm freezing!"
"Oh don't be a baby, it'll be fun." I smirked, turning off the hose and picking up a glob of mud.
