Jessie's POV

"Harry, where's my slippers?"

"In my duffel bag, let's go!!" I groaned and rushed downstairs, into the car. After two months of waiting, today was the boys' championship football game. Being Harry, he prepared two days ahead. His cheeky self was long gone and now, he's competitive. "Can't wait to take down those Badgers!"

"How are you so sure?"

"My team is the best of the best and I know of it. Are you doubting us?" He responded, a little too serious.

"No, I'm just happy to see you all excited." I shrugged as he sighed.

"Sorry, I'm just really nervous."

"No need Harry." Victoria chimed. "You'll do great. No matter what, you'll be a winner to us."

"Of course Zayn will be Jessie's winner." Jane muttered.

"Hey!" I whined, looking to Harry. "If anything, Harry's the winner! Zayn doesn't do anything unless he's getting something out of it. Harry, on the other hand, offers and does what he is told. I'd pick Harry over Zayn if you had to ask which I'd be with more often."

"I was fine with the whining! I did not need a Martin Luther King speech!"

"Oh, she's just being reasonable." Harry smiled, looking down on me. "No need to pout."

"Hush curly."

"I'll let you talk about Zayn."

"Harry, she'll go on for hours!!" Jane whined. I just turned to him with my eyebrows narrowed.

"You're crazy." I peered over Jane's chair. "You know, I'm getting the feeling that you don't like me anymore."

"Sweet pea, I love you lots. It's just you can be very, very talkative at times."

"Oh."

"So you're not taking my offer?" Harry butted in.

"Why should I annoy you by talking about my boyfriend?" I sighed, leaning on the window. "It's not like it'll make things better between you two."

"It won't, but if that's what it takes to actually have a conversation with you, then I'm willing."

"We'll just end up fighting." I looked down at my hands. Harry groaned, clenching his fists beside him.

"What can we talk about then?"

"How my mum and dad just came and left, no trace that they were even here."

"They had a good reason, sweetheart." Victoria frowned.

"What's so secretive that my own parents can't tell me?"

"You'd be surprised."

"Maybe we should talk about how chubby you've been getting." Harry snarled.

"Four months ago, I was pure bone! You make it seem like a bad thing that I'm actually eating! If you were in my shoes, you'd give anything to have some food!"

"Mega defensive, I see."

"Mega bastard, I see."

"Jessie!" Victoria scolded me. I slumped in my chair, pulling my body further away from Harry.

"No mum, it's my fault-"

"Just shut up Harry." I muttered, sighing. My hand went to my belly as the car stopped. I sprinted out the car and straight toward the school bathrooms, entering a stall. I hurled up my insides as I've done almost everyday for a month. None of the family knew, what me and Zayn knew.
