Jessie's POV

I have a headache, my body is soar. Harry was pacing in front of me as I stayed sat on his bed, frowning. I looked down at my bare legs and tried to cover them up as much as I could with Harry's shirt.

"Harry, I'm fine! Why can't you just drop it?!" Harry sharply turned and gripped my shoulders, pulling me to my feet.

"It doesn't matter that you're fine! It doesn't matter that you're upset or not! It's just the fact that those bastards think they could do whatever the hell they want just because they can hold a gun! They hurt you, why are you not as frustrated as I am?!"

"I'm not because... because I'm trying not to be scared anymore! I-I don't want to run! I want to show that I can take on life's problems and face them like a real woman should! You don't know what it felt like to go near everything and feel like you'll have some type of punishment for even looking at it! I want to prove to myself that I can be strong, that I can fight for myself!" I yelled in his face.

"You could've done that without nearly getting yourself killed from the weather or even worse, a boy with a gun!" Harry's fingers started pressing into my shoulders, making me yelp.

"Stop! You're hurting me!" I shoved him away, falling to the floor and scrambling away from him. Harry's facial expression softened once I fell to the floor, looking around in disbelief. "You hurt me, Harry." I whispered as I rubbed the aching area.

"I didn't mean to, I-"

"Get away from me!" I yelled, curling into a ball as he neared me. "I said get away! I-I'll hurt you myself!"

"You wouldn't, not to me." I turned away from Harry and hid my face in my knees as I felt my hair get pushed back. "I'm really sorry, does it hurt a lot?" I nodded, looking away from him. "You're giving me the silent treatment all over again?" I didn't answer him. "Fine, but that only means you can deny the anti-infection spray." My eyes widened. I hated it, I hated that spray. But I was being a woman now, we're strong.

"Go ahead." Harry's eyes widened.

"You.... ugh!" He angrily stormed off, Victoria walking into his room.

"What's wrong with Harry?"

"He's upset because I'm fighting against him. I'm trying to be regular and be fearless but he's not letting me! I just want to be able to go out and not be afraid of everything and think I'll get hurt." I frowned, Victoria sitting beside me.

"It's alright sweetie. Harry is just really protective over us. After seeing you, he just had to save you. It's like an instinct of his. He has to protect his girls. If he ever failed himself by not protecting us, he feels that he can never be able to protect his future wife and family. Jessie, he just wants to make sure you're not trying to do anything that will get you hurt. Like yesterday, he sat in the bathroom crying when you were asleep. I found him there at three in the morning. Seeing you abused like that really hit him hard."

"I understand that was a mistake. I was just upset and confused."

"Everyone has those days. But running from it wasn't the solution sweetie. You have to face your problems, not run from them."

"Okay, I understand." I nodded as she kissed my forehead and walked out the room. Zayn walked in after her, making me smile and throw my arms around him. "Stay with me."

"I will." He smiled, carrying me onto Harry's bed. "So you feeling better bunny?"

"Yeah, I'm fine now." I giggled, why was I giggling? That wasn't even funny! But he was still so cute.
