Chapter 5

"Okay everyone the DJ is here so our game is over. He's gunna set up in here so everyone can dance and shit! Also while I have everyone's attention... tomorrow we are throwing a huge pool party for my birthday so you are all invited. It starts at 1:30 so see you all there."

The DJ started playing the music loud and everyone was starting to get a little drunk at this point. It was turning into a real party. I went into the kitchen to get another drink. Cassie came up to me and asked "So are you into Kian or Jack because you can't have them both".

I just looked at her and said "I honestly don't know. I think Jack is into Jenn anyways which I'm not surprised about so I'm just not even gunna try with him".

"Kelsey, Are you blind? Jack is into you but if you are into Kian too this might blow up in your face. Not to mention Jenn is feeling some type of way about Jack... and you know how she gets when she is drunk"

Cassie was always my voice of reason. We've known each other for our entire lives and she knows me better than anyone. She was right. I can't have both of them but I just don't know how I feel. I didn't have to choose now anyways. I just wanted to have fun tonight. Enjoy the beer, the music and my new friends. As for Jenn, I love her so much and she is also one of my best friends but when it comes to alcohol and boys she can get pretty promiscuous.

I don't even really know why I was contemplating who I would choose... I don't even know if either of them even like me.

JC came over and started chanting "CHUG CHUG CHUG CHUG" to me with my beer in my hand.... I am no stranger to chugging a beer and knew that I could outdrink almost every guy in the room. I finished the beer in less than a minute and all the guys seemed really impressed.

I grabbed another one and JC said "I bet you can't do it twice in a row"

So I proved him wrong again. Although after finishing it I realized it might have not been the best idea because I was starting to feel really drunk. I decided to move away from the keg and go to dance with Cassie. As we entered the room I saw Kian dancing with a girl I had never met. She was one of the DJ's friends and they were intensly dancing up against the wall... I stared in awe and Cassie grabbed my hand to turn me away from him. I looked to my left and I saw Jenn grabbing Jack's body to dance on him. He looked up at me and I couldn't take it. Both of them weren't interested in me. I handed Cassie my drink and walked out to the front yard. I was so jealous and hurt I could barely breathe. I was the only one out front, and the fresh air was calming me down.

That was until I heard the front door shut behind me.

I turned around to see Jack standing on the porch.
