Chapter 10

I was laying in the only comfortable I could get in in the back of the uber with jack. He had is arm around me and my head was resting in his lap. He played with my hair trying to calm me down when he saw I was crying from the pain.

We reached jacks house and he carefully lifted me up and carried me to his room. Feeling his muscles flex around me made me weak. Hes so fucking hott.

He gently rested me down on his bed and got an ice pack for me. After helping me change into some of his clothes we watched 3 movies in a row while he alternated the ice pack and heating pad every hour for me. I slowly drifted to sleep with jack gently cuddling me.

The next morning I woke up to the sun shining through jacks window. I stretched out forgetting about my injury and expected a sharp pain when I did but I felt nothing. I rolled over and my side felt almost completely better. I got up out of the bed and looked in the mirror to see a slight bruise on my ribs but the swelling was almost completely gone.

"Morning beautiful" I heard jacks sexy sleepy voice say

I smiled at him "morning" I said leaning over the bed and kissing him on the cheek while his eyes were still shut.

"How are you feeling?" he asked

"Weirdly enough I feel fine. It hurts to touch but I can walk and breathe fine." I said sounding surprised.

"I got up every hour after you fell asleep and kept the ice and heat on it" he said

Wait did he really just say he woke up every hour last night to take care of me?

"What?! You woke up every hour?" I asked in shock

"Yeah its no big deal" he laughed

I leaned down and pecked his lips "Thank you for taking care of me" I smiled

I looked at my phone and it was 10 in the morning. We had a bunch of appointments today with a realtor to look at apartments.

"I have to get back to the hotel to get ready for apartment hunting" I said to jack

"Can I see you after then?" he asked with those beautiful brown eyes looking up at me.

"If youre lucky" I smirked while gathering my things.

I checked my phone on the way back to the hotel. I had a text from Cam and JC apologizing for throwing me in the pool. I replied "its okay guys it was an accident im fine!"

I got to the hotel and the first this cassie and jenn asked was how I was feeling. I told them how jack practically stayed up all night taking care of me.

"He is starting to grow on me" Cassie laughed in approval. She was always really protective of me since I never had the best choices in guys.

We showered and got ready for the day. I wore my strapless maxi dress and my hair in a sock bun for the day. I picked up my over sized sunglasses and was so excited to look at apartments.

We were on our way to the third apartment with the realtor and I was starting to lose faith because the first two weren't anything I was expecting. We pulling into the driveway and the front of the building was filled with colorful flowers and white balcony's.

There was a sign that read "Paradise Apartments" and as soon as we walked into the building thats exactly what it felt like. A huge open foyer that was all white. With huge windows facing out to the pool area in the back. We went up to the third floor apartment and it was beautiful. The entire floor was mine with a huge open kitchen dining room and living room as you first entered. There were three bedrooms with the master bedroom having a balcony overlooking all of LA.

This was the one. I knew it as soon as I walked in the door. I signed the lease and arranged move in dates with the furniture companies. This was it... I was moving to LA in a month.
