Chapter 6

I took one last deep breath and said "Oh hey! What's up?" trying to act like I didn't just have a panic attack over him.

"Are you okay?" he asked with a concerned face

"Yeah I'm fine just felt a little overwhelmed that's all" we both sat down on the porch steps.

I could feel him staring at me but I couldn't gain the courage to look back.

"So Jenn's pretty great huh?" I said trying to act cool with it. Whenever I get hurt I push people away and that's what I was trying to do to Jack.

"Yeah she's cool. She's pretty drunk though right now" he said

"Yeah I think I am too honestly" we both laughed. I finally gained the courage to look over at him. His eyes locked onto mine and he leaned in to kiss me. I quickly turned away out of fear. "She's probably looking for you right now you know, you should prbly go back in" I said talking about Jenn.

"I don't want to be with Jenn... I want to be with you right now."

"Really? But Jenn is so hott.... you're not into her?"

"Yeah she's hott but you're beautiful.... I would much rather get to know you better."

I couldnt believe what I was hearing. I was freaking out inside I couldn't contain myself.

"I want to get to know you too" I said with a smile. I was glad it was dark out so he couldn't see how red my face was from blushing.

"Well I think I need another drink after this how about you?" I said standing up.

He got up and said "sounds like a good idea to me" and took my hand as we walked back into the house.

We both got another drink and heard that the DJ was playing one of Jack and Jack's songs "Cold-Hearted" I looked at Jack and asked if he wanted to dance.

He looked surprised and excited at the same time and we went into the living room against the back wall. I looked over and Kian was making out with the same girl he was dancing with earlier which was the exact thing I needed to see to gain the confidence with Jack.

I turned around as Jack leaned up against the wall and started grinding on him with my back on his chest. I whined my hips and arched my back with more confidence I even knew I had. I felt Jack's breath down my neck and soon felt him begin to kiss my neck. With his hands on my waist and him sucking and kissing my neck I couldn't take it anymore. I turned to face him and we locked stares for a quick moment before passionately kissing each other.

The kiss was better than anything I could even put into words. We started to makeout pretty intensely before I felt a poke on my shoulder.

I turned around to see cassie standing there.

"Whats wrong is everything okay?"I asked her.

"Yeah Jenn's too drunk though she's getting sick so were taking an uber back to the hotel are you coming with us?"

I looked back at Jack and he bit his lip and looked at my lips before saying "You can come home with me I'm taking an uber back soon anyways with JJ"

I turned back to cassie and said "I'm gunna just go with Jack I think"

"Are you sure Kelsey? Are you too drunk to make a decision like this?" Cassie asked in concern

"Yeah I'm fine I'll text you when I get to his house and i'll come back to the hotel in the morning I have money for an uber." I assured her

"Okay be careful I love you" she said "make sure she texts me" she said to Jack

Jack told her he would take care of me and she left.
