Chapter 8

The next morning we were woken up my my phone going off like crazy.

"Shit" I said still half asleep.

Jack lifted his head "What's wrong?" he said in his sexy sleepy voice.

"I forgot to text cassie last night she's freaking out" I said "I have to go back to the hotel"

"Nooooo already?!" Jack whined "Stay and cuddle with me" he said giving me the puppy dog pouty face.

I called an uber and grabbed my pants. "I have to go, but I'll see you at the pool party today right?" I hoped.

"Of course, you think I would miss seeing you in a bikini? Hell no" he laughed. I loved his laugh.

"Okay I'm gunna wear these pants back to the hotel I'll give them back at some point.... if you're lucky" I said leaning down to kiss him in the cheek goodbye. He grabbed me and pulled me on top of him "Oh I'm always lucky" he grinned while kissing me.

"See you later gorgeous" he said as I left his room.

On the ride to the hotel I looked through my phone to see a bunch of pictures being posted on twitter and instagram from last night. Jack just posted a selfie of us saying "So glad I got to meet this pretty little lady last night :)" I looked at the comments and people were questioning if we were dating and already shipping us; Jelsey. There were also group pictures of all of us from the party that JC, Cam and Shawn posted.

I also saw I had a text from Kian from early this morning. "Hey we need to talk about last night you're coming to the party today right?" I texted him back saying "Okay and yeah I'll see you later"

What could Kian possibly want to talk about... obviously he threw away any chance of us being together last night and I'm glad he did because I never would have gone home with Jack if he didn't.

I finally arrived at the hotel and walked into the room to see Cassie and Jenn laying in bed. "Hey guys sorry I didnt text you Cass I completely forgot" She jokingly rolled her eyes "Yeah im sure you did"

"Jenn how are you feeling" I asked kind of scared to see her reaction to me coming from Jack's house.

"I feel like death I hate alcohol" she complained "How was your night at Jack's?"

"It was good. We just slept basically" I answered kind of awkwardly.

"Wait really? I was sure you guys would fuck by the way you were dancing and making out at the party" Cassie said laughing

Jenn kept quiet I could tell she still wasn't too happy about me and Jack.

"No i'm not easy! He respected that. He's a sweetheart." I answered not being able to contain my smile

"Lets go to breakfast come on get up Jenn" I said. I changed my shirt but kept on Jacks sweatpants. I threw on some sunglasses and we went to find a good breakfast place. We found a starbucks pretty close by and walked in.

"Oh look who it is!" I heard a familiar voice say. It was Cam JC and Kian in line in front of us.

Kian turned around and we made eye contact. I quickly looked down and after buying our stuff we all sat at the same table.

"Kelsey can we talk for a minute alone" Kian asked after we had finished our food.

"Yeah" I said

We walked outside and sat on a bench nearby.

We sat in silence for a few minutes I was just about to say something when he said "About last night..."

"It's fine Kian you don't have to explain to me".

"But I do" he said "I really felt a connection between us when we kissed. I screwed everything up by getting drunk and kissing Lacey"

Lacey.... even her name pissed me off.

"I felt a connection too so it honestly hurt seeing you with her. I get you were drunk but I mean so was everyone else." I said

"I know and i'm not using that as an excuse but I just wanted to let you know i'm sorry you walked in on us I never meant for that to happen" he apologized.

I could tell it was sincere. "I know you and Jack went home together so I understand if your totally done with me but I could still see myself with you."

I took a minute to think everything over.

"I did click with Jack... and I wouldn't have if I didn't see you with Lacey." I explained "I'm not done with you I still want to be friends with you I think our personailities click really well. I just dont know if I could get that image out of my head if I were to think about being with you."

"I understand" he said looking down at the ground "We can be friends... just know I'll be here for you if you need me. And be careful with Jack please. I like him but he's been known to break girls' hearts"

"Thanks Kian but I dont think hes like that" I defended.

Everyone came out of starbucks and our ubers rolled up by the curb.

"I'll see you later right?" he asked me looking hopeful

"Yes you will! Cant wait" I said giving him a huge hug and kissing him on the cheek.

He smiled as we got into the uber.
