The next morning, Y/n was up bright and early - she didn't like to be, no. But she was the lightest sleeper in her whole dormitory, therefore the only one who could hear the alarm clock. That left her with the job of waking up everyone else.
And so, just like almost every morning since their first year, Y/n climbed on top of her bed, touched her wand to her neck and mumbled a spell to make her voice louder, then yelled. ''WAKE UP, LOSERS!''
Lucy Manchester screamed, Michelle rolled off her bed from fright, Lisa sat up straight and Kassandra Sinclair let out a snore before opening her eyes. After the four girls had realized what had just happened, all of them groaned.
''I definitely didn't miss Y/n the Alarm Clock.'' Michelle picked herself up from the floor, holding her head in pain.
''Yeah, yeah, c'mon. Hurry up, I'm hungry.'' Y/n said as she plopped back down on her bed, already wearing her uniform and robes. Her bag had been packed the night before, so she was ready to go.
Soon enough, the five girls had grabbed a quick breakfast before making their way towards breakfast. Lucy and Kassandra went off on their own, seeing as they didn't hang out with the rest of their roommates much. Soon, the three were digging in their breakfast happily.
''What's your first class?'' Y/n asked as she looked at her timetable. She had double Potions first, meaning she had to put up with Snape as a first class of the year. Fun times, really. It had turned out both Lisa and Michelle had Potions as well, so she wouldn't suffer alone.
So, after the dreadful two periods, the three girls made their way towards the Defence Against the Dark Arts classroom for another double lesson.
Y/n loved her friends to death. But sometimes, she despised being in a trio, as there was always someone who would sit alone - during Defence Against the Dark Arts, it was Y/n. The three sat in the middle of the classroom, Y/n sitting behind her two friends, hoping no one too annoying or weird sat next to her.
The classroom was rather full, most people already having showed up for class. Different conversations spread around the classroom as the teacher wasn't there yet, though there were a bunch of books stacked on top of Umbridge's desk. Y/n looked at the in curiosity, wondering why they had to buy their own books when it seemed like Umbridge had some prepared for them.
Fred, George and Lee entered the classroom when it was mostly full, so the seat choice was limited. They scanned the classroom, noticing a free desk for two people, along with a free seat next to a Ravenclaw, who's head was bent over her book, so they couldn't exactly see who it was.
''Alright, who's sitting alone here?'' asked Lee and all three of them looked at each other before throwing their fists out.
''ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS, SHOOT!'' Both George and Lee had thrown out paper, while Fred threw out rock. Fred cursed the muggle game Lee had introduced them to under his breath as he made his way towards the free seat.
Fred plopped down and heard someone clicking their tongue behind him - he looked back, seeing Kenneth Towler sending him an annoyed look before sitting down next to Adrian Pucey of Slytherin. Fred cocked an eyebrow, wondering what the bloke wanted.
At last, Fred decided to take a look at who he will be sitting with for the rest of the year. The girl was still hunched over her book and wasn't paying attention to Fred, but once he saw her side profile, he recognized her. ''Look who we have here.''
Y/n, George and Lee all looked at Fred as he spoke. George then looked at the girl, realizing his brother was now sitting next to Y/n and cursing himself about not volunteering to sit alone. ''Oh. Weasley. Thank God, I was scared Pucey was going to sit next to me or something.''
