ROSS'S POV
I followed Maia and Jill into the kitchen to find the ingredients for making pizza. I heard a doorbell ring so I went off to get it.
"Mom! Cierra Grace and ew Rydel" i playfully rolled my eyes at her
"I love you too little brother" she hugged me
"We are making pizza guys" I said going into the kitchen hugging Maia from behind.
"Yeah what kind should we make" Maia asked
"Pepperoni and half cheese" I said and they agreed.
"Okay let's help out" Cierra put her hair up and helped make the sauce.
"Grace can you me the cheese from the refrigerator please" Maia said making the dough.
"Sure" grace got the cheese and set it on the kitchen island.
Maia got the dough ready and the girls got the sauce and other stuff done. We flattened the dough and spread the sauce over it and after put things on top.
I put it inside the oven and we went to the living room to watch a movie while the pizza baked.
I kept thinking about Maia's surprise. When would be the right time to give it to her. I really hope she thinks we are responsible enough to own the pug she's been wanting for the past years. I've got it out in the garage. I got it at the animal shelter before Maia came and I named it Sadie. I'll just give it to Maia when we go outside to chill.
"Babe I'm sitting on you" Maia sat in between my legs and laid back on me.
"Kids I've got to go your father and I are going out for dinner do you guys want me to take you or stay" Stormie said
"Can we stay" Rydel said
"Of course have fun Stormie" Maia smiled and my mom went off to her date with dad
"Alright we don't have to keep it pg no more" I smirked
"Ross it'll still be pg tonight" Maia laughed
The girls laughed while I gave her a serious look
"I know I know I've got to wait until the wedding" i smelled the pizza and ran to the kitchen
"It's done" I took it out and we waited for it to cool down
After 15 minutes we began to eat. We went outside to sit down and watch the sun go down. It was time to surprise Maia.
"Babe close those eyes!" I ran to the garage and grabbed the pug.
I walked towards Maia.
"Open your eyes" I said. The expression on her face was adorable.
"Aww it's so cute! Thanks Ross!!" We hugged and played with the dog.
"What's the pugs name?" Cierra asked
"Sadie" I pet the dog
"Aw Sadie is so cute we need to go shopping tomorrow morning before I go to work" Maia fed it treats that I bought for the dog
"Yes m'am" I'm happy she likes it. It'll be our practice before actually having a baby someday in the future.
At night the girls went to the guest rooms to do girl stuff and I laid in bed alone thinking about my future child with Maia. I mean it's kind of scary because I have no experience with taking care of babies. I don't want nothing bad to happen to this baby. What am I going to do when it gets sick or something and I don't know what to do. Ross you're just getting to paranoid here! I just know that this baby will have the coolest dad ever. If it's a guy I'm going to put him in a football team and go support him in all his games and if it's a girl I'll still put her in a sport and do the same. Maia can go take her to do girl stuff though. But for a fact this kid will get all my love.
"Ross what you thinking about? Did you really think I wouldn't sleep with you tonight" Maia laughed
"Maybe" I chuckled
"Come here" she cuddled with me and eventually fell asleep
In the morning Maia woke me up early so we could go buy Sadie a dog house and food bowls at Petco.
I was half asleep while shopping so I don't know how much she bought.
When we got home Maia quickly took a shower to go to work with Cierra and I could go back to my sleep.
